What is Vector Arrows?

A spatial-estimation game: several arrows point out from one origin, and you judge the direction of their combined arrow · the vector sum · choosing from eight compass directions.

How do I add the arrows?

Imagine laying each arrow tip to tail, one after another, then drawing a single arrow from the very start to the very end. Longer arrows pull the result more, and arrows pointing opposite ways partly cancel.

Do I need to know the maths?

No. The game is about building the visual intuition for vector addition by eye · the same intuition behind forces, velocities, and the arrows used in trigonometry and physics. No formulas or numbers to compute.

How does it get harder?

Higher difficulty and longer streaks add more arrows and let the combined arrow sit closer to the line between two directions, so you have to judge the heading more precisely.
