AI Slop

AI Slop is a game about human intuition in the age of machines. You are presented with a proverb, a famous quote, or a short piece of wisdom, and your task is simple: guess whether it is a real piece of human culture or AI-generated "slop".

Real or machine-made. The game draws from a pool of genuine historical quotes and traditional proverbs, mixed with variants generated by large language models. Some are obvious, but others are designed to mimic the cadence and tone of classic wisdom.

Test your "slop" detector. As AI models become better at imitating human speech, distinguishing between the two becomes a challenge of recognizing genuine cultural context versus superficial imitation. This game tests your familiarity with the human canon.
