About Human Timer
Human Timer turns the everyday "prove you're not a robot" CAPTCHA into a speed game. Instead of one annoying gate between you and a website, you solve a short run of human-verification challenges back to back, against a live stopwatch, and try to beat your own personal best. It is a pure test of perception and reaction · how fast can your eyes and fingers do the things a bot still struggles with?
Four kinds of challenge. A run mixes them so no two feel the same: read the code (type the distorted characters you see), pick the tiles (tap every square showing the target · the classic "select all the buses" grid), spot the tilt (tap the one tile rotated out of line), and tap in order (hit the scattered numbers from lowest to highest). Each is trivial for a human and awkward for a script · which is the whole point of a CAPTCHA.
Speed and accuracy both count. A wrong answer does not end the run · it just means you retry that same challenge, so the clock keeps ticking. The fastest times come from being both quick and careful, not from mashing.
Three difficulty tiers, three records. Easy keeps the codes short and the grids small; Medium widens both and adds a couple more challenges per run; Hard runs longer with bigger grids and longer codes. Each tier stores its own personal best, so you always have a record to chase. Your best times are saved on your device and follow you when you sign in.
Part of the PlayMemorize family of brain-training games. Runs entirely in your browser, works offline as a Progressive Web App.
FAQ
-
What is Human Timer?
It is a beat-the-clock speed game built from CAPTCHA-style challenges · reading distorted codes, selecting the right tiles, spotting a tilted tile, and tapping numbers in order. You solve a short run of them as fast as you can and try to beat your personal best. -
What happens if I get one wrong?
Nothing ends · you simply retry the same challenge, and the stopwatch keeps running. A mistake costs you time rather than the whole run, so the best scores come from being both fast and accurate. -
How is my best time saved?
Your fastest run is stored per difficulty in your browser, so Easy, Medium and Hard each keep their own record. If you sign in, your records sync to your account and follow you across devices. -
Is this a real CAPTCHA?
No · it does not verify anything or talk to any server. It just borrows the familiar shapes of CAPTCHA challenges and turns them into a timed game. It runs entirely in your browser. -
Does it work offline?
Yes. PlayMemorize is a Progressive Web App, so Human Timer keeps working without a connection once the page has loaded.
