What does ordering words train?

Gradient vocabulary · the sense of how far apart near-synonyms sit on a shared scale. It upgrades vocabulary from a set of words into a calibrated instrument for both reading and writing.

What kinds of gradients appear?

Everyday scales · temperature, size, sound, wetness, brightness, frequency, quantity, age, certainty, distance-like scales such as puddle-to-ocean, anger and difficulty.

Yes · each gradient is authored natively per language with words whose ordering is clear in that language, not word-for-word translations.
