Find the next number in the sequence.
PlayMemorize Sequences is a free number pattern recognition game. You see a series of numbers and must figure out the pattern to predict what comes next. Patterns include arithmetic, geometric, Fibonacci, prime numbers, triangular numbers, factorials, and alternating series.
Progressive difficulty. Early rounds use simple arithmetic sequences (add 5, multiply by 3). As your streak grows, the game introduces Fibonacci patterns, power sequences, prime numbers, and eventually alternating and factorial sequences.
Learn as you play. After each answer, the game reveals the pattern type and its rule (e.g. "Fibonacci: a+b=c" or "Triangular: +1,+2,+3..."). This turns every round into a mini math lesson.
Part of the PlayMemorize family of free memory and brain training games.
Q: What types of sequences are included?
Eight types: arithmetic (+n), geometric (x n), Fibonacci (a+b=c), powers (squares and cubes), primes, triangular numbers, alternating series, and factorials. Harder types unlock as your streak grows.
Q: Is Number Sequences free?
Yes, completely free. No account needed. Your high score is saved locally in your browser.
Q: How does the difficulty scale?
Early rounds use simple arithmetic and geometric sequences. After 5 correct answers, Fibonacci and power sequences appear. After 10, triangular and alternating. After 15, factorials. The number of answer choices also increases.
Q: Does it explain the answers?
Yes. After each answer, the game shows the pattern type and its mathematical rule, so you learn even when you get it wrong.
