Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Short version: PlayMemorize does not sell your personal information for money. We use analytics and advertising services that some interpret as “sharing” under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). Signed-in accounts are ad-free. Non logged-in visitors see advertisements only after granting consent. You can opt out at any time · and if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat that as a valid opt-out automatically.
Your right to opt out
California residents (and residents of other US states with similar laws) have the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell your data for money. Third-party advertising (Google AdSense) and Google Analytics 4 cookies can constitute “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising under the CCPA. These load only after you grant consent. Signed-in accounts are ad-free. You can opt out at any time.
How to opt out
- Cookie Settings: use the Cookie Settings link in the site footer and choose “No thanks”. This turns off Google Analytics and the first-party analytics beacons on this browser.
- Global Privacy Control: if your browser or an extension sends a GPC signal, we automatically record an opt-out and never load non-essential cookies · you do not need to do anything else.
- Email us: contact hello@playmemorize.com to make a request relating to your account data.
What opting out does
When you opt out, Google Analytics and the first-party analytics beacons are not loaded on your browser. Strictly-necessary items (keeping you signed in, remembering your choice) continue to work · see the Cookie Policy for the full list.
Your other rights
You also have the right to know what personal information we hold, to request its deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
