What do AND, OR and XOR mean?

AND gives 1 only when both inputs are 1. OR gives 1 when at least one input is 1. XOR gives 1 only when the two inputs are different. The game restates these in-screen every round, so there is nothing to memorise.

What are A, B, TARGET and OUT?

About PlayMemorize Circuit Breaker

Circuit Breaker is a gentle introduction to boolean logic gates · the building blocks every computer chip is made from. You do not need any background: each round shows you two inputs, a target, and three gates to choose from, and the game spells out exactly what every gate does.

How a round works. You are given two inputs, A and B. Each one is either 0 (off) or 1 (on). A logic gate takes those two inputs and produces a single output, called OUT. Your job is to pick the gate · AND, OR or XOR · whose output matches the TARGET shown, then press Run circuit.

The three gates, in plain words. AND outputs 1 only when both inputs are 1. OR outputs 1 when at least one input is 1. XOR (exclusive-or) outputs 1 only when the two inputs are different from each other. Tap a gate and the game shows its current output live, so you can check your reasoning before you commit.

What it trains. Reading a rule, applying it to specific values, and confirming the result · the same precise, step-by-step thinking used in programming, electronics and mathematics. A correct answer grows your streak; one wrong answer ends the run.
