How do I play Robot Programmer?

Tap the turn-left, forward, and turn-right buttons to build a program · a queue of steps shown below the maze. When you think the sequence will reach the goal, press Run and the robot follows your program one step at a time. Reach the goal to win the round.

What happens if the robot crashes?

Driving forward into a maze wall crashes the robot and ends the round. Turning never crashes · only forward moves can. Plan your route so every forward step passes through an opening, not into a wall.

Why does the robot stop without reaching the goal?

Accepted Answer

Your program ran out of steps before arriving. The round counts as a loss · add more steps next time, or fix the ones that pointed the robot the wrong way. Use Undo to drop the last step or Clear to start the program over.

Question 4

Does it get harder as I go?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Each successful round bumps your level, and every few levels the maze grows by another row and column of rooms, so the route to the goal gets longer and more tangled the further your streak runs. Every maze is still guaranteed to have a solution.

Does it work offline?

Yes. PlayMemorize is a Progressive Web App. Install once and Robot Programmer plays anywhere without an internet connection.
