Improved

• improve Fastest Pour liquid balance and button layout. Liquid viscosities and flow speeds across water, juice, oil, and honey have been rebalanced so each substance has an equitable probability of winning. Prediction buttons now render with equal proportions in a balanced grid across mobile and desktop.
• improve Streamlined in-game settings and restart controls. In-game settings have been decluttered for a calmer visual experience. Restarting a game is now positioned beside the game mode toggle for rapid access both inside and outside game mode.
• improve Mobile navigation and favorites styling. Cleaned up favorite games spacing and typography in the mobile navigation drawer.
• improve Top challenge notification bar. Replaced the persistent challenge banner with a slim, dismissible notification bar above the header.
• improve Profile activity calendar layout. Adjusted profile activity metrics on mobile screens so summary numbers and heatmap legends display with balanced margins and readable contrast.

New

• new Meet MemPi · your interactive AI study companion. MemPi is now ready to learn and play alongside you across PlayMemorize games. Click MemPi in the header or on the game board to summon him. He observes the board in real time, thinks out loud, shares hints, demonstrates tricky puzzle steps, and can take turns with you in co-op mode.
• new In-game study assistance. Every game now includes quick access to MemPi whenever you want practice guidance, tactical feedback, or an interactive companion to solve challenges together.

New

• new In a Day joins the library in Beta. Estimate daily numbers across humanity and planet Earth. How many days of human life are lived in a day? How many steps do we take, laughs do we share, and heartbeats do our bodies count? Test your sense of scale with multiple-choice estimation and educational reveals.
• new Column Math joins the library in Beta. Practice written vertical arithmetic across all four operations: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Choose between clean columns and problems with carries or borrows, and view step-by-step worked explanations with full carry annotations.

September 20, 2026

New

• new IQ Puzzle Pro joins the library in Beta. Fit all twelve polysphere pieces into the 5×11 grid. Rotate and flip each piece to fill all 55 sockets without overlaps. Gentle tiers offer starting clues, while higher tiers leave the board open for spatial deduction.

September 19, 2026

New

• new Shape Slicer · slice 2D shapes by area and 3D solids by volume (Beta). Slices geometric shapes in two dimensions and solids in three dimensions at a steady speed. The game names a fraction and you tap to stop the slice there. Watch a cutting line sweep across 2D polygons to cut off exact area fractions, or watch an isometric cutting plane sweep through 3D cubes, cylinders, cones, pyramids, spheres, and prisms to cut off exact volume fractions. It also tests 2D area scaling, perimeter scaling, turning angles, and stretching width. Practice 2D shapes, 3D volumes, or both together.

Improved

• improve The library shows its game icons much sooner. The page is tall, and it asked for every one of its 59 tile icons the moment it opened · 49 of them for tiles far below the screen. The icons you could see had to wait for icons you could not, and the last one arrived about 4 seconds in. The first tiles now load at once and ahead of the rest, and each later tile loads as you reach it.
• improve A game card draws sooner, because it now loads only its own animation. Each card shows a small looping demo of how its game plays. The page held all 224 of those demos in one download, so the five cards you can see waited for the 219 you cannot. A card now fetches its own demo and nothing else.
• improve The "By age" menu now also browses by job and by skill. The five age bands stay first, and each one still opens the whole library tuned to that age. Under them the menu shows the 100 audiences the site writes for, in the same ten groups the audiences page uses · surgeons, pilots and developers under By job, chess players, language learners and night owls under By skill, and toddlers to centenarians under By age. Each name opens that audience's page, and each group title opens its part of the full list.

September 17, 2026

Fixed

• fix Who Wrote It? stops promising a passage it never shows. The card, the About text, the FAQ and the whole how-to guide described reading a famous literary excerpt and weighing its voice, theme and period. The game shows no excerpt. It shows the title of a book and asks who wrote it, and there is no passage anywhere in the data. Every one of those surfaces now describes the real round, including the card in 25 languages and the guide in all eight it ships in. The guide teaches what the pool rewards instead: 21 titles by 16 authors from 1600 to 1967, the four authors who hold nine of them, and the two pairs that genuinely catch people · Charlotte and Emily Bronte, both 1847, and Dostoyevsky against Tolstoy.

September 15, 2026

Fixed

• fix Who Made This? describes the game it actually is. The About text, the FAQ and the how-to guide all promised a difficulty control that widens the pool of works as you climb. There is no such control, and the pool never changes. The guide went further and taught a canon the game does not hold · the Mona Lisa, the Impressionists, jazz legends · none of which is in it. All of that is now written from the code: you pick one of three topics before the run, every round offers four names, and each topic draws from a small fixed pool · 17 paintings by 12 painters, 10 melodies by 8 composers, 21 books by 16 authors · with no work repeating until its pool is spent. The card description said "literary excerpts" in 25 languages, when the Literature round shows a book title; that is corrected too. The guide is corrected in all eight languages it ships in.

Improved

• improve Black Box leaves beta, and gets harder as you go. The probe queue used to GROW with your streak, which handed you more evidence the deeper you went, so the game got easier. It now shrinks, the answer list grows, and more kinds of rule come into play. Every round is still checked before you see it, so the examples on the belt can only mean one answer.
• fix The answer panel no longer throws you to the bottom of the page. Its Continue button took focus on every reveal, and a browser scrolls to whatever it focuses, so a long reveal carried you past the result you wanted to read. This affected every game; Black Box showed it worst.
• improve Three games leave beta: Odd One Out, Meditate and Read Upside Down. Odd One Out also grows more slowly. It used to add one more item every round, so the board reached its nine-item ceiling in five rounds. It now adds one every third round, which spends the same range over fifteen.
• improve Timeline marks each answer with its event number. The rail used to show only the years, so you could see when the answers were but not which event each one belonged to.
• improve NATO Phonetic asks a question the first letter cannot answer. One round showed a code word and asked for its letter, which every NATO word already begins with, so "Bravo" answered itself. That round is gone. The hard rounds now spell a whole word, and each wrong option changes exactly one code word.
• improve Order It says which way up the rail runs. The two ends were labelled, but the question never said which end was which, so a finished round could read upside down. A line under the question now names both ends before you touch a card.
• improve Continuum asks a question again. The reference ticks used to leave exactly one empty slot, so the round was answered by counting gaps rather than by knowing the word. They never do that now. The accepted band also closes as the difficulty rises, and the prompt says what to do and between which two words.
• improve Human Map draws a real coastline. The old map was written by hand at five degrees a cell, and it said northern Europe was solid land from the Atlantic to the Pacific · no North Sea, no Baltic, no Scandinavia. The map is two degrees a cell now, rasterised from a real coastline, so the peninsulas, the big islands and the inland seas are all there.
• improve Power Towers draws the two numbers when it reveals the answer. Two bars, and under each one a line that says how big it really is: the value, its digit count, or the digit count of its digit count. The bars cannot follow the values · the classic pair is nineteen thousand orders of magnitude apart in its digit count alone · so they follow the number of logarithms it takes to make each one small.
• improve Do Not Think Of It is a toy now, not a game. The clock is gone, and so are the score and the way to lose. One thing sits still on the screen, a caption flies around it and blinks, and a button gives you a different thing.
• improve Bounce drops the ball at one speed. Every shot used to play in the same time, so a short drop crawled and a long one raced. The animation now follows the flight, so gravity looks the same on every board, and a typical shot is slower than before.

Fixed

• fix Shape Assembly carries the loose piece at its true size. Every piece was drawn in the same small square, so it told you nothing about the gap it fills. A held piece is now the size of the hole.
• fix Shape Count shows every counted triangle. When the triangles were nested their number badges landed on top of each other, so some of the proof was hidden behind the rest.
• fix Portal Hop keeps the drone at one speed. The drone walked one cell every half second while you placed the portals, then moved six times faster the moment you launched, which made its position impossible to predict · the one thing the game asks you to predict.
• fix Shadow Cast no longer cuts off the block stack. The front row of cubes was sliced off at the bottom of the picture, so you could not read the shape you had to cast a shadow from.
• fix Nurikabe draws its right-hand edge again. The last column sat outside the frame, so the grid looked open on one side.
• fix Power Towers shows a readable question in its FAQ. One question printed its own formatting marks instead of the exponents.

September 13, 2026

New

• new Art Pattern · read the art, name the rule (Beta). The screen draws a grid of numbered discs, and one number rule decides which discs get a fill. You name that rule from the options · even numbers, a multiple, a square, a power of two, a Fibonacci number, a prime or a triangular number. Two rules can mark the same discs inside a small range, so the generator drops every option that matches the answer and each round keeps exactly one correct answer.
• new Do Not Think Of It · tap the moment it goes (Beta). The game names one thing, asks you not to think of it, and then shows you that thing. When the picture goes away you tap, and the window is measured in milliseconds. A tap while the picture is still there is too early, and no tap inside the window is too slow. It is the white-bear study of Daniel Wegner from 1987, turned into a timed round.
• new Football Angles · find the open pass (Beta). A pitch from above. One team mate holds the ball, opponents stand in the way, and one team mate is free to move. You drag that team mate to the spot where the pass is most open, then you play the ball. A good spot needs room on both sides of the ball line, and it also needs a sensible length, so a very short pass wins nothing even with nobody near it. The game measures every spot on the pitch and compares yours with the best one. An easy round leaves a wide corridor and accepts more; a hard round leaves a narrow window and accepts less. Arrow keys move the team mate, and Shift moves him five steps at a time.
• new Is It Reasonable · does it make sense? (Beta). You read one short statement about the everyday world and answer if it is reasonable. The statements come in pairs: one makes sense, and its twin breaks one thing about it, so each round teaches you a difference. Reasonable is not the same as true, and a few statements are a surprise and still make sense. The easy rounds need no thought; the hard ones turn on one detail, such as which of two steps comes first. Twenty-four statements, each with the reason behind its answer, in all 25 languages.

Improved

• improve Sudoku Force now has three board sizes. The easy tiers give a 4x4 board with the symbols 1 to 4, so a young child can learn the row, column and box rule on 16 cells instead of 81. The middle tiers keep the classic 9x9 board, and every puzzle there is exactly the one it was before. The hard tiers give a 16x16 board, where the scan is much larger. The board, the buttons and the printable worksheet all follow the size you pick.

September 12, 2026

Improved

• improve The YouTube invitation is a bar at the bottom of the page, not a card in the corner. The card had a small × and almost nobody read it. The invitation now uses the same bar as the cookie notice, with the same two buttons. OK opens the channel in a new tab and leaves your game where it is. Half of all visitors see it one time; the other half see the cookie notice alone, and the cookie notice always follows.

September 9, 2026

Improved

• improve Geography tells you about a place in your own language. The fact under each answer was translated for Arabic, Bengali and Czech in some topics and stayed English in others. No church had a translated fact at all. All three languages now carry a fact for every place the game teaches. German gains the church facts of the countries it already covered.

Fixed

• fix Geography asked about places it knew no size for. Twenty cities, rivers and lakes shipped with a size of 0, so "which is the largest" had a right answer with nothing behind it. Each one now carries a figure from its own article, or it left the game. Nauru gains Aiwo, which is the current name of the district the data called Yangor.
• fix Geography listed four rivers and one lagoon twice. Iraq held two rows for the Tigris and two for the Euphrates, Syria two for the Euphrates, and Poland two for the Vistula Lagoon. A round matches on the name, so only the first of each pair could be reached. The repeats are gone.
• fix Eleven churches showed the wrong cross. The Orthodox cathedrals of Timisoara, Brasov and Novocherkassk are three of them. Each showed the Western marker beside a line that calls it Orthodox. Each one now shows the marker its own text names.

September 7, 2026

New

• new Geography gains a churches layer, in 120 countries. The map trainer covered cities, mountains, rivers and lakes. It now covers churches as well, 492 of them, from Notre-Dame de Paris to Uppsala Cathedral to the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe. A church layer reads by year, not by size, so Names mode asks which church of a country dates from a given year. Each entry carries the year a source gives for the church at that place. A reviewer checked each year against the article of that church.

Improved

• improve Three games moved out of Beta and into the main library. Country Battle, Match the Number and Shape Corners now show up on the home page, in the age menus and in the tag round-ups, and each one has its own how-to guide. Nothing about how they play has changed.
• improve Front Lines takes one tap, and the tap says what it means. The three mode buttons are gone. Tap a square you hold to add a soldier, tap a neighbour you do not hold to attack it, and tap the line between two squares to build a wall there. Your chance to win now sits on every square you can attack, all the time, so you read the odds before the tap that commits the attack.
• improve The five assembly games light up the places a piece can go. Instrument Assembly, Shape Assembly, Toy Assembly, Circuit Assembly and Da Vinci Assembly used to accept a piece in one place only, so you could drop it again and again until it stuck. Up to five zones light up now, one of them is right, and a drop in a wrong zone ends the run. A press on a piece holds it, and the zone you press next is your answer, so the whole round works with a keyboard.
• improve Shape Count Deluxe asks for a number a person can count. A hard round used to hide about sixteen triangles in a figure of up to twelve crossing lines, which is a guess and not a count. The figure stops at seven lines now, and the largest answer anywhere is ten.
• improve Portal Hop has a drone, and the moment you launch matters. A drone walks a short beat across the board. The beat it is on when you press Launch is the beat the ball flies against, so you place the portals as before and then choose when to fire. Every board is still proven winnable, and the drone always blocks something on some beat.
• improve Roman Numerals plays both directions at random. The direction used to follow the difficulty, so a run taught one direction at a time. Each round now draws its own, and the difficulty control is gone.
• improve Alternative Cost shows the benefit and the cost as two big boxes. They were small pills that wrapped onto two lines, so the pair did not read as two sides of one comparison. Each is now half of the button, with the figure set large.

Fixed

• fix The Pi explainer link in 24 languages went to a "page not found". An address such as /pi/fr/what forwarded to a page the site does not have. It now takes you to the Pi explainer.
• fix A saved link to an article or a role page in your language no longer gives a "page not found". The site builds each article in the languages that have a translation, and the rest of the addresses stayed alive in search results and in bookmarks. About 9,000 of them, such as /el/blog/tribonacci or /de/roles/musicians, now take you straight to the English original, which holds the same text and links on to every language that does have it.
• fix Read Upside Down marked a correct pick wrong. When the options were the rotated side, the game could put the prompt word itself on a wrong button while the right button read as something else. A player who read correctly lost the run. The wrong buttons can no longer draw as the prompt.
• fix Bounce did not turn a mirror you tapped. The hint said "Tap a mirror to turn it", and a tap only selected it. A second tap on the selected mirror now turns it ten degrees, which is what Laser Bounce has always done.

September 6, 2026

Improved

• improve Four more games open on a live round instead of a Start screen. Color, Ghost, Find Differences and Where's MemPi used to make you read a panel and press Start before anything happened. The round is running the moment the page is. Their settings moved into the game menu above the board, so you can change the grid, the category, the colours, the players or the tempo during a run · the pick applies when you press "Generate new game".

Fixed

• fix The Math operations picker did nothing. Turning addition off, or division on, was thrown away the moment you pressed "Generate new game", so the game kept dealing the operations it started with. Your pick now decides the next problem. Color's and Ghost's own settings carried the same fault and are fixed with it.

September 3, 2026

Improved

• improve Twenty games moved out of Beta and into the main library. Analogies, Define, History Quiz, Which Philosophy?, Proverbs, Old Curses, Name Rarity, Did You Know?, Red Day Match, Trig Drills, Decay Time, Measure It, Crocodile Dentist and the seven Blanks games now show up on the home page, in the age menus, in the tag round-ups and in the Labyrinth's pool of rounds. Nothing about how any of them plays has changed · they had simply stayed behind the Beta label after they were ready.

September 2, 2026

New

• new Front Lines · read the odds before you attack (Beta). You hold one square on the world map, and one enemy holds one square far away. Each turn you get two points, and you spend each point on a soldier or on a wall between two squares. A wall multiplies the defence by a factor of 1.2, and it never moves after you place it. You can make one attack each turn, and every neighbour shows your chance to take it · one soldier against one soldier gives an even chance. Thirty turns decide who holds more of the world. The map is the same world board the Geography game draws.

Improved

• improve The constant pages answer the question before they offer the game. If you searched for ln 2, tau, e, phi, root 2 or gamma, the page used to open with a numpad and nothing else. Each one now starts with the value to sixteen decimals, one plain sentence that says what the number is, a line on where it turns up in real work, and a link to the full explainer. The trainer is still there, directly below. The value is cut from the same digit string the game plays, so the two can never disagree.
• improve The digit pages no longer promise 12,000 digits they do not have. Every constant claimed the same 12,000. Only Pi has that many; the rest hold 10,000, and each page now says its own number.
• improve Every constant explainer now offers the trainer. After you read what ln 2, tau or e is, a card at the end takes you straight to the numpad for that number. The trainer already linked back to the explainer, so the two pages finally point at each other.

September 1, 2026

Fixed

• fix Power Towers showed an empty board. The two towers were drawn in the same colour as the panel behind them, so the numbers were there but nobody could read them. The digits are dark again.
• fix Speed Sort would not let you drop a card in a bin. The card stopped at the edge of the play area and could not travel down to the bins. It now follows your finger all the way, and the bin under it lights up before you let go. Tapping a card and then a bin works again too.
• fix Inflation gave its own answer away. A dashed line pointed from the last known price straight at the answer band, so the estimate needed no thought. Only the question mark marks the unknown year now.

Improved

• improve The Tactical Game and The Strategy Game are now Tactical History and Strategical History, and they are live. They sit with the history games now, where a player looking for history will find them. Both pools grew by 24 real decisions each · Tactical History from 53 to 77, Strategical History from 57 to 81 · so a long run no longer runs out of moments it has not shown you. The new rounds fill the arenas that were thinnest: rescues from a burning launch pad and a flooded cave, product recalls that saved a company, and the choices that built the ozone treaty, the Norwegian oil fund and the European coal and steel pool. Each one keeps the same contract as the rest · a real situation, four actions that were genuinely on the table, and a reveal with the names, the dates and a source.
• new Fifteen games leave beta and go live. Which Breaks?, Who Would Win?, Skinner Box, Worth, And the Question Is, Backwards Typing, Connotation, What Reaction, Next Tone, Fastest Pour, Human Timer, Connect the Dots, Game of Life, Langton’s Ant and Rule 30 are out of the beta section and in the library with the rest. Each one now has a full how-to guide, and each appears in the roundup for every topic it belongs to, in all 25 languages.
• improve Next Tone has 19 more melodies. The pool went from 46 to 65 tunes · nursery songs, spirituals and folk melodies that were already in the site’s other ear-training games, so a long run takes much longer to run out of tunes you have not heard.
• improve Fastest Pour is a real puzzle now. The right answer was the fastest liquid in 94 to 98 rounds of 100, at every difficulty, so the race could be won without looking at the tubes. The weave now sends a tube across two or three columns in one drop, so the paths differ enough for the division to matter, and the harder tiers demand rounds where neither the fastest liquid nor the shortest path wins. Picking the fastest liquid now wins 95 rounds of 100 on the easiest tier and 27 on the hardest, and the finish gets tighter the whole way up.
• improve Black Box lets you answer the moment you see the rule. You had to feed every input through the box before the choices appeared, which could be twelve taps after you already knew the answer. A "Ready to answer" button now opens the choices from the first result, and the round reports how many probes and how many seconds you spent. The choices still appear on their own when the inputs run out. Caution · the full set of examples always points to one rule, and a short set can leave two alive, so an early answer is a risk you take.
• improve Bounce is a gravity game now. You drop a ball from the top of the field and turn mirrors so it falls into a goal on the floor. Gravity bends every arc downward, and it differs from board to board, so the same angles never fly the same path twice. The predicted flight is drawn as a dotted curve; firing sweeps the ball along it. Every board is solvable, because the game builds each one by flying a shot first and putting the goal where it lands.
• improve Meditate cannot be failed any more. It used to hide one long pause and ask, at the end, which one it was · so the way to win was to count, which is the opposite of the point. It is now just listening: eight tones, then eight more with a second more silence between them, for as long as you like. There is no question, no score and no end. Notice that between the tones you thought of nothing at all.
• improve Four games are easier to read. Roman Numerals puts the number in a large carved tablet of its own, instead of inside the sentence, and the reveal stands both halves of the conversion side by side. Alternative Cost gives the gain and the spend a box and a colour each, and the reveal draws every option as a bar on one shared scale, so the winner is visible before you read a figure. Master Percentage stops colouring its meter like a battery · a small percentage is not a bad one · and the reveal now keeps the shape the question used, with a scale to read it against. Human Map paints the sea blue and the land warm paper: it had them the other way round, and a birth flashed almost the same green as the land it happened on.
• improve The five Assembly games are now assembly, not multiple choice. Shape, Toy, Circuit, Da Vinci and Instrument Assembly used to ask which of four pieces completed the drawing. You now drag each loose piece onto the figure and put it where it belongs. A new setting chooses how much comes apart: one piece, or all of them. On the easy levels each gap is a dashed outline you drop onto; from medium up the drawing shows nothing and you have to read it. A piece dropped nowhere near a gap simply returns to the tray, so a slipped finger costs nothing.
• improve Three games let you drag the thing you are placing. In Timeline you pull an event card out of the tray straight onto the year line, instead of tapping the card and then tapping the line. In Continuum you drag the word itself onto the scale, and it stays there as your mark, instead of pushing a separate slider. In Library Organizer the book sits in the middle of a bookcase and you drag it onto a shelf. Tapping still works everywhere, so the keyboard path is unchanged.
• improve Country Size Battle is now Country Battle, and it asks more than one question. A round can ask which country covers more land, which has more people, or which became independent first. Area comes first, population joins on the middle levels, and independence on the hardest. Each question keeps its own fairness margin, so no round turns on a figure the sources disagree about, and a country with no single date of independence never appears in that question.
• improve NATO Phonetic asks a real question now. Every NATO word starts with the letter it stands for, so a round that offered Alfa, Bravo and Juliett for the letter J was answerable by reading one character. All four options are now words for the same letter, taken from the older spelling alphabets, so a wrong answer still teaches you one.
• improve Read Upside Down is harder. The words you choose between were unrelated, so you could pick by shape without reading the rotated letters. They now differ from the answer by about one letter.
• improve Shape Corners draws its own figures on the harder levels. The twenty named shapes could be memorised, and the biggest had twelve corners. Harder rounds now draw an irregular outline that nobody has seen before, with more corners as you climb.
• improve Shape Count Deluxe is much easier to see. The figure was drawn inside a fixed frame far larger than the figure itself, so it appeared as a small cluster in one corner. It now fills the frame, with thicker lines.
• improve Portal Hop is a puzzle again. A board could be won from dozens of different portal placements, so almost any pair worked. Every level now has far fewer winning placements, and the two-launch rounds start earlier.

Removed

• improve Bullet Mirror is retired. It was the blind-aim half of the Laser Bounce split, and the two games asked the same question. Laser Bounce keeps the puzzle, and every Bullet Mirror link now goes there.

Improved

• improve The front page now says what PlayMemorize is. The headline read "Five quiet minutes for your mind" and nothing above the game rows told a first-time visitor that this is a site of memory games. The headline is now "Memory games for your mind", and one line below the game count explains the site: a free set of 100+ memory and memorization games, in rounds that start, finish and let you go. The page is otherwise unchanged, and every other language keeps its own wording.

August 29, 2026

Improved

• improve The Restart button in game mode is now a small icon. In game mode the button showed a circular arrow and the word "Restart" in a wide pill, and on a phone that pill crowded the game's own buttons in the same corner. It is now a round icon button with only the arrow. It starts a fresh game exactly as before, it keeps the full 44px touch target, and a screen reader still announces it as "Restart" in every language.

August 28, 2026

Improved

• improve Every game now has one menu, and your settings wait for you. A game used to spread its controls over a row of buttons, and each one changed the game the moment you touched it · so opening the menu to read the difficulty threw away the round you were in. All of those buttons are now one Game menu dropdown. Change as many settings as you like inside it and nothing on screen moves; press Generate new game and you get a fresh game with all of them. Controls inside the play area still work at once, as they always did. The menu is one column, so it no longer pushes the board off a phone screen.

August 26, 2026

Fixed

• fix Four games no longer give the answer away by its length. In The Tactical Game the right move was written out in full and the three wrong moves were one short line each, so the right move was the longest option in all 53 puzzles. A player who covered the situation and picked the longest option won 100 rounds of 100. The Strategy Game gave up 98 rounds of 100 the same way, What Reaction between 88 and 97 in every one of the 25 languages, and And the Question Is 45. Every right answer now runs the same length as the options beside it, and it is as often the shortest as the longest. The detail that explains the answer is in the reveal, where it belongs.
• fix Cheat the System needed a second pass. The August 22 pass cut every loophole down until none stood out beside its decoys. Picking the longest option still won 83 rounds of 100, because the loophole stayed the longest string in most puzzles even when the difference was small. The lengths are now spread across the four options, so the longest option is the right one in 29 rounds of 100, where an even game gives 25.
• fix Alternative Cost stopped paying you to ignore the cost. The game exists to teach that the value of a choice is its benefit minus its cost. It drew the costs separately from the values, so the option with the biggest benefit was also the best option in 69 rounds of 100. A player who never read the cost column beat the game more than twice as often as a guess. The game now decides where the answer sits in each column before it picks the numbers. Every way to read one column alone now wins 26 rounds of 100, which is what a guess wins.
• fix Human Timer and Backwards Typing now show your best result. Every run of both games counts as a win, so the stats panel showed "Wins" and a win rate of 100%, and it never showed the one number each game is about. Human Timer now shows your best time and Backwards Typing your best words per minute. Typing and Perfect Shape carried the same fault and are fixed with them.
• fix Nurikabe boards now have exactly one solution. On the easiest boards you could shade every cell that was not a clue and win with no thought at all. That trick won 7 boards in 100. Many other boards accepted more than one legal answer, so two players could both be right on the same board. The game now counts the solutions of each board it builds, and it throws away any board that has a second solution or falls to that trick.

August 22, 2026

Fixed

• fix Two more games stopped putting the answer in the middle. In Math and on the printable Solve for x sheet, the three wrong answers were each drawn at random above or below the right one. Three coin flips land on both sides far more often than on one, so the answer was one of the two middle numbers in about 80 rounds of 100, and a player could rule out the smallest and the largest without doing the sum. Both now choose how many wrong answers go below the right one before they choose which ones. The questions Math asks did not change.
• fix Three printable worksheets now show the round the game plays. The worksheets for Sequences, Analogies and Polyglot each built their own copy of the game's options. The question and the correct answer always matched, but the wrong options did not, in every round we measured. The Sequences sheet also kept a fault the game lost in August: the answer was one of the two middle numbers in 78 rounds of 100. All three sheets now ask the game for the round.
• fix Red Day Match no longer answers "Secular" three times as often as anything else. The game picked a holiday at random, and 13 of its 36 holidays are secular, so "Secular" was the answer in 37 rounds of 100 where an even game gives 17. It is also the last label in the list, so tapping the bottom option won just as often. The game now picks the tradition first and then a holiday from it, so all six traditions come up equally.
• fix In Cheat the System the right answer no longer stands out by its length. The loophole was written out in full while the three wrong answers were one short line each, so it was half again as long as the longest of them in 51 of the 56 puzzles, and picking the longest option won 98 rounds of 100 without reading the rules. Every loophole is now the same length as the answers around it, and the reason it works is in the reveal, where it belongs.
• fix Prime Time now asks about primes half the time. The game picked a number at random from its range, and most numbers are not prime, so the answer was "Composite" in 78 rounds of 100. A player who always tapped Composite beat the game without looking at the number. The game now picks the answer first, then a number that fits it, so both answers come up equally often. The number ranges did not change.
• fix Who Would Win? no longer puts the winner on the left. The two contenders were drawn in the order they were written, and the written winner is the first one in 55 of the 62 duels, so "always tap the left one" won 88 rounds of 100 without reading either name. The two sides now swap at random each round.
• fix The Life Hacks pages no longer name a source they do not use. Five of the twenty topics advertised an authority that backs none of their cards: Phone & Tech Hacks named CISA, First-Aid Hacks and Safety Hacks named the Red Cross, Home Repair Hacks named the NFPA, and Grooming Hacks named Mayo Clinic. Each page now names only the organisations its own cards link to, in all 25 languages. The cards themselves were always correct.
• fix Random Life Hack is properly random. When the draw landed on the hack already on screen it moved to the next one in the list, so that neighbour came up twice as often as any other hack. It now draws evenly from every other hack.
• fix Twelve more games can no longer be beaten by the position of the right answer. In Shape Count the answer was the second button of four in every round we measured. In Roman Numerals it was the third number of four in 999 rounds of 1,000. In Expected Value it was the second-smallest amount in 96 rounds of 100, and it was never the smallest or the largest. How Many Cubes, Measure, Next Tone, Match the Number, Worth, Percentages, Shape Corners, Decay and Sequences each had a weaker form of the same tell. Every one of these games now decides where the answer sits before it picks the wrong options, so the position tells you nothing.
• fix Shape Corners asks about more shapes. Six of the twenty shapes have four corners and two have none, and the game picked a shape at random, so "four" was the answer in 35 rounds of 100. It now picks the corner count first, then a shape that has it.
• fix You can no longer beat Inflation by sorting the four amounts. The true answer was never the biggest number on screen and was the second-smallest in 57 of every 100 rounds, so a player who always took the second-smallest won more than twice as often as a guess, without reading the chart. The four amounts now put the answer in any position, one time in four.
• fix The "How to Master Heavy Friction" guide now describes the game you play. It said one pull to 100% makes a good (it is seven hauls of 15% each), that a boat leaves every 30 seconds (it waits 30 seconds, sails 30 out and 30 home, and pays you when it returns), and that strikes and riots demand cash you must settle or the line stops. You never pay a dispute: it settles against your labour stability, a good result pays you, a bad one costs 30% of the warehouse, and the line never stops. All 8 languages are corrected. The German guide also said you CAN let go of the lever mid-pull, which is the opposite of what it meant.
• fix The Heavy Friction page now describes the game you play. It said you pull the lever to 100% to make a good (it is seven hauls), that a good reaches the warehouse on every pull (only the seventh), and that riots and strikes demand cash you must settle or the line stalls. You never pay a dispute, it settles itself against your labour stability, a good outcome pays you, and the line never stops. All 25 languages are rewritten · three of them still described a version of the game that was never built.
• fix Heavy Friction now speaks all 25 languages. The game took the page language and threw it away, so the factory read English on every language route · the lever, the boat, the admin panel, the disputes, the event log and the restart screen. Every one of those strings is now translated, and the event log follows the language you pick even for lines it wrote earlier.

August 21, 2026

Fixed

• fix Heavy Friction stopped paying you to close the tab. The factory kept running in a background tab, and then ran the same minutes a second time when you came back, so every absence made twice the goods. With no admin on shift it still made more than if you sat and watched, while the restart screen told you nothing had progressed. Time away now counts once, and only an admin on shift can buy it.
• fix The lever in Heavy Friction asks the same work of every player. A tap on the right-hand end made a full stroke for no effort, and End, Enter and Space each made one per keypress · a held key made hundreds. Now a stroke needs a real haul from the knob, or about three arrow presses, or End and then Enter. Holding a key makes nothing.
• fix Extra fingers no longer pull the Heavy Friction lever faster. A second finger on the track reset the one-pull-per-haul guard, so each added finger bought another stroke. One finger now owns the lever until you lift it.
• fix An admin in Heavy Friction covers every hour you paid for. The factory caught up at most one hour, but it charged your admin coverage for the whole time you were away. A player back after two hours lost two hours of coverage and got one hour of goods, and nothing on screen said so. Coverage is now only spent on time the factory really ran.

August 19, 2026

Fixed

• fix The menus in Color open as a real menu again. The colour menu and the player menu opened as a squashed row of numbers with no panel behind them, on top of the page. Both now open as a card under the button, with the choice you made marked.
• fix You can read the answers in Mosaic again. Every answer button drew its painting name in near-black on a near-black button, so the six choices looked empty and the game could not be played. The buttons now use the same card colour as the other games. A long painting name also wraps onto a second line instead of running past the edge of its button.
• fix An address that does not exist now shows the PlayMemorize Not Found page. A one-word address sent the browser back to the same address again and again, so the browser gave up and showed its own error page. The rule that did this is gone.
• fix The pricing page says what PlayMemorize costs. The plan card showed no price at all. It now reads "Free".

Improved

• improve Every menu on the site now looks the same. A game menu, a tool row and a worksheet setting each drew their own box, and each browser drew its own arrow inside them. They now share one rounded pill with one arrow, so a menu reads the same on every page and on every device.

August 18, 2026

New

• new A printed worksheet now says what each game asks. Every game section carries one plain sentence under its heading · "Pick the digit that fits the marked square in the grid." A parent can read it aloud to a young child, and an adult can read it alone. It reads in all 25 languages, and the sentence describes the printed task, not the screen game.
• new Every answer on a worksheet gets a box to cross. The box is drawn as an outline, so it stays visible on a black-and-white printer.

August 17, 2026

New

• new Country Size Battle · which country covers more land? (Beta). Two countries face each other, and you pick the larger one. The reveal gives both areas in square kilometres and how many times the winner covers the loser, so each round teaches two real figures. A world map stretches everything near the poles, so the answers are harder than they look. Easy pairs a famous giant against a small state; hard puts two neighbours in the area ranking side by side. A pair only appears when the larger country is at least 10 percent larger, so no round turns on a disputed figure.

Improved

• improve Country Size Battle names every country in your language. Eight languages · Swedish, Arabic, Korean, Japanese, Hindi, Portuguese, Bengali and Indonesian · showed the English name, because the shared name table does not carry them. The game now falls back to the country name your device already holds, so all 25 languages read a real name. The printed worksheet reads the same.

Fixed

• fix The United Kingdom now reads in your language on the map games. Its name came from a table row no lookup could reach, so it stayed English in all 24 other languages.

August 15, 2026

Fixed

• fix Math Lab stopped giving away the answer. At the 0-100 range, nearly three of every four multiplication questions were free, because a question could be 0 times a number or 1 times a number. Division did the same. Every number in a question now starts at 2, so you have to do the sum.
• fix Hard and Very hard are two levels again. They gave the same questions as each other. Very hard now uses larger numbers and larger times tables than Hard.
• fix A printed worksheet matches the screen. Above the middle levels, a worksheet and the game could show different questions for the same puzzle. They now share one source.

Improved

• improve Bigger numbers at the top levels. Multiplication and division stayed at times-table size however large the number range grew. They now grow with the level, so the hardest levels repeat far less often.
• improve Every difficulty menu now offers five settings, from Very easy to Very hard. A game with a difficulty setting gave you three steps. It gives you five, in all 25 languages, and each one is a reviewed age band. The two new steps are real: 51 games got a gentler bottom rung and a harder top rung, and a check now fails the build if any two settings of a game play the same round.

August 14, 2026

Improved

• improve Ambush now has a marching column and an Attack button. The enemy column no longer stands still. It marches down a shaded road with the treasure in the middle of it, and you watch it come. Your pieces go beside the road, never on it, and one button springs the whole ambush at the moment you pick. An archer fires its single arrow at that instant, and your soldiers start to walk. The column moves at the speed a soldier walks, so you can never catch the treasure from behind · you have to cut into the road ahead of it. Attack too early and the column runs your soldier down. Attack too late and the treasure leaves the board.

August 13, 2026

Improved

• improve Battle Mate is now Ambush, and it is a place-and-watch puzzle. An enemy column stands on the road with a treasure in the middle of it. You place archers and soldiers around it, press Play, and every piece runs one simple rule · an archer fires one arrow straight forward, and a soldier walks forward one tile on each tick. An arrow stops at the first unit on its line, and a soldier that meets an enemy trades with it, so the game is to cut a lane and walk a soldier onto the treasure. The order queue, the ticks you had to plan and the cavalry are gone. Every board has a solution, and the fewer pieces you spend the higher you score. The old address still takes you to the game.

August 10, 2026

Improved

• improve Every page loads less code. The small scripts that run the site chrome shipped with their notes to the reader attached. The browser now gets them at a third of the size, and the notes stay in the source where they help.

Fixed

• fix A screen reader now says what you see on a game card. Each card told a screen reader only the game name, so a person who reads the card aloud to control the page was not understood. Each card now reads the name and the description you can see, and the favourite star no longer speaks before the game it belongs to.
• fix The Worksheets button and the language button say their own name. Both told a screen reader something different from the word printed on them.
• fix The setting pills in Color say their own name. The pill that shows "4 colors" was called only "Colors", so a person who speaks the words on screen could not open it.
• fix Every pre-start menu button says its full name. A button that shows a size and a description told a screen reader only the size. The Memory grid buttons are the clearest example.
• fix The menus in Twemoji Ghost and Converter tell you what they choose. A screen reader said only "combo box" for the grid, the category, the speed and the units, and said nothing for the amount box.
• fix The cookie bar is no longer covered by the buttons that float above it. On a phone the game-mode button sat on top of Accept and Reject, so a tap could reach the wrong one. Both floating buttons now wait until you answer.
• fix The market chart and its verdict now agree in Finance Lab. On the hardest levels, a rare round drew a chart that fell while the game said the market rose. The game now reads the chart it drew, the same way you do.
• fix Trig Drills stops asking the same question twice in a row. The game now shows you every angle before any repeat. The answer for tan(90°) also appears in your own language now.
• fix A stray click no longer wastes your arrow in Bullseye. A click on the board with no pull used to loose an arrow with no power, and the round was lost. The bow now waits until you draw.
• fix The letters sit in order in Volume Estimate. The cards used to show B, A, C. They now read A, B, C from left to right.
• fix A digit typed in a text box no longer answers a round. With a game on screen, a number typed into the feedback form used to commit that answer. The games now ignore keys you type into any text field.
• fix The end panel shows your real run after you press Stop. It used to say 0 rounds, whatever you had played. It now reports the rounds and the streak you earned.
• fix Chess Mate worksheets accept every real mate. Some puzzles have two squares that both win. A worksheet used to mark the second one wrong. The game already accepted both, and the worksheets now agree.
• fix Red Day Match and Odd One Out repeat themselves less. Both games now show you the full set before any item returns.

August 9, 2026

Improved

• improve The front page cards appear straight away. A card used to wait for a large file of game code that the front page never runs. The page now loads about one sixth of the code it did, so the cards draw themselves as soon as you reach them.
• improve The audience pages and the schools page tell the same story as the home page. Fifteen pages · for parents, for a child before bed, for a commute, for finals week · now say what the site is instead of what it does to you. A round ends, and nothing starts after it.

Fixed

• fix A card no longer jumps as the page settles. Each card reserved the wrong height until the browser measured it, so a row of cards moved down the screen under your thumb. Each card now holds its place from the first moment it paints.

August 8, 2026

New

• new A new page explains why the site works this way · /why. A feed has no last page. This site does the opposite · a round starts, ends, and lets you go. The page also lists what the site does not have, and it reads in all 25 languages.

Improved

• improve The home page says what the site is. The headline and the band below it now describe games that end, instead of a promise about your mind.

August 7, 2026

Improved

• improve A run now gets harder as your streak grows, in every difficulty. In 36 games an Easy, Medium or Hard setting held one difficulty for the whole run, so a long streak never got more demanding. The setting now picks the rung you start on, and each win raises the level from there.
• improve A game starts the moment you open it. Most games showed a card with a Start button first. The round is now live when the page is ready, so you play at once. Use Stop under the game to end a run, and Settings to change the difficulty.
• improve Difficulty moved into Settings, and a game no longer asks before it starts. Open Settings under any game to pick Progressive, Easy, Medium or Hard. The run starts again at once with your choice, and the game remembers it. Progressive is the default and climbs from the easiest rung.
• improve Every game page now shows what the game is, and answers the common questions. The description and the FAQ were behind a menu button. They are on the page now, under the game, in your language.

Fixed

• fix The guide button no longer opens a missing page. In 7 languages the button pointed at a guide that page does not have. It now opens the English guide for those games.

August 2, 2026

Improved

• improve Every page loads much less code. A page sent the text of all 25 languages to your browser. It now sends only your language, so a page starts about 1.8 MB lighter.
• improve You can download your data without an account. Open the /me page and select Download. The file follows your session, so it works for an anonymous player too.

Fixed

• fix The Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy now match what the site does. The pages give the correct cookie lifetime, list every item we keep in your browser, name each retention period, and state that we show no advertisements.
• fix Your consent choice reaches our record. The banner sent it to an address that does not exist, so no decision was stored.
• fix We keep your language list only after you accept. The polyglot badges wrote it to your browser before you made a choice.
• fix Constant pages open again from their short address. Addresses such as /e, /phi and /tau went to the error page.
• fix Translated constant articles open again. An address such as /pi/sv/apery went to the error page in many languages.
• fix Your day streak now counts your own calendar. The header count could add a day that you did not play.

July 30, 2026

Improved

• improve Polymath now uses the full live round-game registry. New round games join the pool automatically.
• improve Estimation now offers all three topics. Select Comparisons, Products, or Volumes before a run.

Fixed

• fix Game Mode stays open after a failed round. Select Stop or Exit when you want to leave.
• fix Crazy Comparisons Restart starts a fresh run. It clears the old round and its timers.
• fix Polymath records each result once. A result no longer adds two plays to your statistics.

July 26, 2026

Improved

• improve Sequences graduates from Beta. What comes next? Spot the rule behind a run of numbers · arithmetic and geometric steps at the easy end, Fibonacci at the hard end · and pick the term that continues it. Now a finished part of the library.
• improve Mental Rotation is now part of Spatial Reasoning. The two cards were the same game · Mental Rotation was Spatial Reasoning's rotation round all along. One card now, and a run finally cycles through all three of its promised challenges: rotation, folding a flat net into a solid, and reading a block's shadow. The old address opens Spatial Reasoning.

Fixed

• fix "Which is the same shape, rotated?" is always actually rotated. About one round in four showed the correct answer as an untouched copy of the shape above it, so you could win by spotting the identical card instead of turning anything. Every round now turns the shape for real, and the other cards always carry the same number of squares · so no option can be ruled out by counting instead of rotating.
• fix Paper Folds answers were always the lowest number. All three wrong fold counts were built above the right one, so tapping the smallest option won every round without any maths. The wrong answers now sit on both sides of the right one.
• fix Rule Induction answers were always the highest number. Same story in reverse · every decoy continuation was smaller than the real one, so "pick the biggest" beat the puzzle. Decoys now fall on both sides, including the term one doubling too far.

July 25, 2026

Improved

• improve Backwards graduates from Beta. Read a word in reverse and pick it from four, against a millisecond timer, in 25 languages. Now a finished part of the library.
• improve Math Lab graduates from Beta. A lab of timed number drills · arithmetic, trigonometry, prime spotting and fraction sizing, each on its own tab. Now a finished part of the library.

July 20, 2026

Fixed

• fix NATO Phonetic Alphabet spell-word rounds. One wrong answer in hard mode could show up one word longer than the word being spelled, giving it away for free. Every option now spells exactly the prompted word.
• fix Site search in your language. The five Assembly games showed English descriptions in search results for non-English languages · they now describe themselves in all 25 languages.
• fix Picture-only answer buttons announce themselves. In the spatial, vector-arrow and shadow-casting rounds, the icon-only choice buttons now carry a spoken label (Option 1, Option 2 …) in every language, so screen-reader players can tell them apart.

Improved

• improve More of the interface speaks your language. The game toolbar, pro-tip toasts, worksheet preview labels and several screen-reader labels are now translated in all 25 languages, and the pi study page digits can be played from the keyboard.
• improve Account deletion now has a 30-day safety window. Deleting your account signs you out everywhere at once, and your data is permanently erased after 30 days. During that window sign-in stays disabled and your email address stays reserved · the account page explains this before you confirm.

July 19, 2026

New

• new The Assembly collection · five games, one idea (Beta). A real object is redrawn as clean line art with exactly one part missing · match the dashed outline and pick the detached piece that completes it. Every figure cites the real source it was redrawn from, and the reveal shows the citation.
• new Shape Assembly (Beta). Classic solids from Euclid's Elements · cube, pyramid, prisms, octahedron · drawn in isometric view with one face missing.
• new Toy Assembly (Beta). Famous toys from their real U.S. patent filings · the LEGO brick (1961), the Rubik's Cube (1983), the Slinky (1947), the 1866 yo-yo · with one part missing.
• new Circuit Assembly (Beta). Classic beginner circuits in standard schematic symbols · torch loop, LED driver, voltage divider, RC filter, astable flasher · with one component missing.
• new Da Vinci Assembly (Beta). Leonardo's machines from the actual codex folios · the aerial screw, the self-propelled cart, the giant crossbow · with one part missing.
• new Instrument Assembly (Beta). Landmark instruments from the real publications · Huygens' pendulum clock, Hooke's microscope, Newton's telescope, Edison's phonograph · with one part missing.

July 18, 2026

Improved

• improve Ancient Wisdom graduates from Beta. Complete a famous proverb with the missing word, then read a compact, sourced context card · what it means, which tradition it comes from, and an honest note on how sure we are who said it. Now a finished part of the library.
• improve Solve for x graduates from Beta. Balance-model algebra · pick an inverse operation and watch it hit both sides of the equation at once, step by step, until x stands alone, with every solution scored against the proven minimal path. Now a finished part of the library, playable in all 25 languages.
• improve Wireframe graduates from Beta. Only the corner dots of a 3-D solid remain · reconnect them to draw the missing edges and complete the named shape. Now a finished part of the library, playable in all 25 languages.

New

• new Roman Numerals · 49 is XLIX, never IL (Beta). Convert between Arabic numbers and Roman numerals in quick four-choice rounds. The wrong answers are the classic traps · swapped pairs and lazy subtractives · so spotting the real numeral actually teaches the rules. Ramps from I-V-X up to full MMMCMXCIX territory, flipping to numeral-to-number reading at the hard end.
• new NATO Phonetic Alphabet · Alfa to Zulu (Beta). Learn the international spelling alphabet the way operators do · letter to code word first, then mixed directions, and at the hard end whole short words spelled out in code. Distractors are picked from genuinely confusable letters, so every round sharpens the exact pairs people mix up.
• new Langton's Ant · two rules, one ant, an emergent highway (Beta). The Idle Games collection grows · a lone ant turns right on white, left on black, flipping each cell as it walks, and out of the chaos a famous diagonal highway eventually emerges. Flip cells by tap, then play, pause or step move by move. It pauses itself when you leave the tab and never auto-animates under reduced motion.
• new Rule 30 · a single cell cascades into chaos (Beta). Wolfram's celebrated elementary automaton · the pattern that grows on a seashell · derives each row from the one above and scrolls forever without slowing down. Seed the canonical single cell or a random row, nudge the newest row by tap, then play, pause or step row by row. Same calm manners: it pauses in hidden tabs and respects reduced motion.
• new Match the Number · from counting to fractions (Beta). Look at the picture, pick the number that matches. Easy rounds scatter a handful of objects to count; then they line up in rows of five and fill classroom ten-frames; and at the top the game switches to fractions · a bar or disc with shaded parts you name as 3/4. Every picture is drawn from the exact value it is scored against, so careful counting always wins.

July 16, 2026

New

• new Molecule Road · plan a path to a target molecule (Beta). The route-planning twin of Molecule Mash, built on the same curated, sourced, mass-balanced reaction graph. You are shown a starting material and a visible target, and you plan the path between them · picking one real transformation at a time from the moves actually available, watching each product appear, and finishing with a concise recap of the route you took. Every puzzle is checked to be solvable before it is offered.

July 15, 2026

New

• new Alternative Cost · pick the option that gives up the least (Beta). Every round lays out a few choices, each with a benefit and a cost · pick the one with the highest net value and you forgo nothing better. The reveal shows every option's net value and names exactly what the wrong picks would have cost you.
• new Ancient Wisdom · complete a saying, learn where it comes from (Beta). Finish a famous proverb or maxim with the missing word, then read a compact, sourced context card: what it means, which tradition it belongs to, and an honest note on how sure we are who said it · from Laozi and Confucius to Marcus Aurelius, Ecclesiastes, an Upanishad, and traditional folk proverbs.
• new Molecule Mash · a tiny, truthful chemistry playground (Beta). Start with a molecule, pick a real transformation, and see what it becomes · the product's formula, a one-sentence explanation, the reaction type, and an honest note on conditions and safety. Every reaction is curated, sourced and mass-balanced · water electrolysis, burning hydrogen or carbon, iron rusting, photosynthesis, respiration, baking soda and vinegar, and the melting, freezing and boiling of water · with physical changes clearly separated from chemical ones, and a wrong pick still revealing the real product.
• new Game of Life · watch a cellular world evolve (Beta). The first of a serene new Idle Games collection · Conway's classic B3/S23 rule on a calm grid. Load a glider, blinker or block, toggle cells by tap, then play, pause or step generation by generation. It pauses itself when you leave the tab and never auto-animates under reduced motion.
• new Journeys · follow a chain of why (Beta). A calm, branching explainer that opens on a simple thought · the sun is shining · and lets you ask why, read a short sourced answer, and choose which question to follow next, from day and night all the way out to the early universe. No timers and no score, every answer carries a real source, and a little path map shows where you have been.

Improved

• improved Black Box shows its working. After you answer, the reveal replays every example through the hidden rule step by step, so you can see exactly why the winning rule fits · and each puzzle is now guaranteed to have one and only one rule that explains all the evidence.
• improved Guess Who replays the clues. The result screen lists the evidence that pointed at the answer, so a round reads as deduction rather than a guess.
• improved Backwards Typing is clearer for everyone. Mistyped letters now carry a wavy underline as well as colour, and a screen reader quietly announces when you slip and when you are back on track.
• improved Installing PlayMemorize is calmer. The footer install button now opens the real install dialog where your browser supports it, and a small, dismissible guide on iPhone and iPad · with no nagging and nothing left behind once you have installed.
• improved Order It is a real ordering game now. Put items in the right order along a ranked rail · by date, size, distance or speed · by dragging them or tapping the arrows, then check. Every round names its rule and endpoints and explains the answer, and it works fully with a keyboard.
• improved Compounds is a visual puzzle now. Each round lays out the ingredient elements as tiles and asks which compound they make · the reveal fills in the product and explains why, with a real source. Every round has one clear answer.
• improved Library Organizer shelves real books. Twenty sourced public-domain classics from around the world · Genji, Three Kingdoms, Hamlet, Kafka and more · sorted by era, genre, or literary tradition, with a defensible answer and an explanation every round.
• improved Micro Frustrations is cleaner satire. The maddening sign-up is now the clearly fictional Grumbleworks Portal · fake buttons and joke passphrases only, never a real-looking login, with the code you need shown right there in the scene and an escape from every step.
• improved Continuum is about placing a word, not sorting a list. Two words mark the extremes of a scale · freezing to scorching · and you slide a marker to where a third word belongs. You win by landing in the word's tolerance band rather than on a single pixel, and the reveal shows the exact spot. Works with drag, touch and the keyboard.

July 14, 2026

New

• new Portal Hop · place the portals, thread the flight (Beta). A ball launches across a walled board · you decide where the two linked portals go so it reaches the goal. Every puzzle is proven solvable before it ships, and harder boards need two placements in a row.
• new Shape Count · how many triangles hide in the figure? (Beta). Overlapping lines make more shapes than you think. Every answer is counted by the game from the exact drawing · never a formula, never a trick · and the reveal shows what you missed.
• new Solve for x · balance both sides (Beta). Real algebra the visual way: pick an operation and watch it hit both sides of the equation at once, step by step, until x stands alone. Fewer steps, better score.
• new Shape Corners · count the corners (Beta). One drawn figure · a pentagon, a star, an arrow, a crescent · and one question: how many corners does it have? Twenty shapes from easy triangles to tricky stars, and every scored answer is derived from the drawing itself, so counting carefully always wins.
• new Read Upside Down · match the flipped word (Beta). Read a word the right way up, then find it among rotated lookalikes · or the reverse. Distractors are chosen by how confusable letters are upside down (u and n, b and q), and no two options can ever rotate into each other.
• new Connect the Dots · the classic, done in order (Beta). Numbered dots hide a picture · tap or drag them in sequence and watch it snap into shape, line by line. Skip a number and the line politely refuses, so the order is the whole game.
• new Auto-continue · an optional rhythm setting. Turn it on in any game's Settings and correct answers roll to the next round after a short countdown you can always cancel · feedback and explanations are never skipped, and it stays off unless you ask for it.

Improved

• improved Black Box looks like a machine now. Inputs slide into a humming chamber and outputs roll out onto a conveyor, so cause and effect are visible at a glance · with the same readable history for screen readers.
• improved Speed Sort got a cleaner cockpit. A clearer score readout, heart-based lives, chip-styled falling tokens and a calmer field make the sorting easier to track at speed.
• improved AI or Real speaks your language properly. The real proverbs in all 24 non-English languages are now genuine native sayings with their sources, not translated English ones.
• improved Logic puzzles teach themselves again. Akari, Shikaku, Nurikabe, Slitherlink, Bridges and Loop all regained their "How to play" panel · rules, steps and a worked example, in your language.
• improved Domino Force worksheets show real dominoes. Printable sheets now draw proper pip-for-pip domino tiles with a dashed gap for the missing piece.
• improved Laser Bounce mirrors spin on tap. Tap a mirror to select it, tap again to rotate · with keyboard arrows too. Misses now draw as dashed beams so hit and miss never rely on colour alone, and taps land exactly on the aiming grid.
• improved And the Question Is shows its reasoning. The answer takes centre stage, candidates read like real questions, and after you pick, every option reveals the answer it actually belongs to · so wrong picks teach something.
• improved Worksheets print in your language. Every printable sheet's prompts and labels now localise across all 25 languages, including the feeling-circle emotion names.
• improved The Internet Speed Test now grades your line. Your result lands on a ladder of eight named tiers · from dial-up era to full fiber · so you see at a glance which everyday uses your connection comfortably handles and which tier sits just above you.

Fixed

• fix Game Mode actually clears the screen again. Entering game mode now hides the header, footer and cookie banner everywhere, lifts the game to fill your screen even if you had scrolled, keeps the Exit button pinned bottom-right, and starts the game if it was waiting on its start screen.
• fix The stray black mark next to "Cookie Settings" is gone. A button shadow was painting without its button in the footer.

July 13, 2026

New

• new Wireframe · connect the dots into a 3D shape (Beta). The dots of a 3D solid float on screen with a few edges already drawn · draw the missing lines between the right dots to complete the tetrahedron, cube, prism or octahedron before your mistakes run out.
• new Find any game instantly. A search button now lives in the top bar on every page (or press Ctrl+K / Cmd+K) · type a game's name, topic, or even a common misspelling and jump straight to it, in every language.

Fixed

• fix Crocodile Dentist is playable again · and winnable. The teeth had slipped behind the upper jaw where they could not be tapped. They are back on the lower jaw, and surviving enough safe taps now wins the round instead of the game going on forever.
• fix Crossword boards are always one connected puzzle. Some puzzles could show stray words floating apart from the grid · every board is now a single interlocking crossword, checked automatically.
• fix Worth rounds can no longer be read straight off the clues. Questions now ask about a hidden stretch of the exchange chain, so the answer is never printed in a single clue and "just multiply everything" no longer always wins.
• fix Translated game pages now load offline. The offline app knew about English game pages but sent other languages to the home page · localized pages now fall back to the right game.

July 11, 2026

Improved

• improved Worksheet generator · a fresh sheet every time. Worksheets are now randomized, so generating again gives you brand-new problems instead of the same page. A new Generate new worksheet button sits next to Email worksheet to me and rerolls a fresh set from your current games and settings in one click.

July 10, 2026

Improved

• improve Hangman got a scene. The gallows now stands in a framed hillside vignette · sky, sun, a drifting cloud, grass and flowers · with MemPi watching from the lawn and reacting as danger climbs. Letter keys stamp on a hit and shake on a miss, and a saved word celebrates with a mint victory wave.
• improve Memory's card table got a makeover. Patterned card backs with a printed star motif, a felt board frame, a card-flip reveal, matched pairs that leave claimed slots on the table, and match streaks earn a little ember flair.
• improve Wordle got a letterpress makeover. The guess grid now sits on a letterpress board with MemPi watching your round, graded tiles flip with a springier stamp, the keyboard inks each learned letter, wins pop confetti with a victory hop, and your streak chip heats up at 3+.
• improve Geo's map got a decorative makeover. A compass rose in an open-sea corner, atlas graticule lines, passport-stamp rings for visited places, dashed-style arrow lines, and a celebrating MemPi on completed expeditions.
• improve Minesweeper Flag got a naval-sweep makeover. The grid now floats in a patrol scene with a ship and waves, flags bob like marker buoys, reveals ripple outward, and a struck mine shakes.
• improve Math got a notebook makeover. A grid-paper backdrop, pencil tally marks in the margin for your streak, and a chalk star every fifth round.
• improve History gained a museum-archive look. Aged-paper prompt panels, exhibit-placard tags and catalogue-card choices, plus a reveal-only timeline that pins each event's year on a rail after the round.
• improve Logic Puzzles now open as case files. Each puzzle runs inside a case-file tab with a magnifying-lens motif and a deterministic case number from the round seed · the gameplay itself is unchanged.
• improve Rubik's reveals gained an unfolded cube net. The net lights up the face of the move, and the turn and face names now match the freeplay page's wording.
• improve Finance got a trading-desk makeover. A terminal frame with a session-number header, a scrolling ticker tape of fictional symbols, a market bell every fifth streak level, and profit or loss stamps on each reveal.
• improve Flanker, Signal Switch and Rule Flip play rapid-fire now. The speeded attention trio drop the Continue click on a correct answer · the choice flashes green and auto-advances, a ×combo builds as your streak climbs, and the response window tightens the longer your run, so the tempo literally speeds up. Each win shows your reaction time.
• improve Home-page game cards load much faster. The animated demo boards now load in their own background chunk only as their cards scroll near, so the page becomes interactive sooner and below-the-fold cards cost nothing until you reach them.
• improve Inflation now plots the price trail. A chart shows the item's real CPI-scaled price decade by decade with a labelled axis, so you can extend the trend to today instead of guessing blind · and the choices carry proportional money-emoji stacks.
• improve Domino Force goes live. Every domino set, chain length and gap position passed a comprehensive logic audit · exactly one fitting choice in every round, so the puzzle graduates from Beta.
• improve Logical Fallacies goes live. All 15 fallacies audited and now genuinely translated in all 25 languages · the game graduates from Beta.
• improve AI Slop goes live. The pool more than doubled to 64 quotes with sneakier fakes, every item now cites where it really comes from, and all 25 languages carry the full set · the game graduates from Beta.
• improve Library and round reveals: clearer text hierarchy. Game names, descriptions and result headlines now use distinct sizes and weights, so tiles and verdict panels read at a glance.
• improve Transitions goes live with 100 sentence pairs. Up from 12 · every example shipped in all 25 languages, and the game graduates from Beta.
• improve Perfect Shape graduates from Beta with a friendlier reveal. The score panel no longer flashes red on a decent drawing · there is no "wrong" in a free-drawing game · lower scores just get a milder mascot.
• improve Life Hacks is now its own category. The source-verified hack collections moved out of Tools into their own group on the home page and in the library.
• improve The cross-game hubs now live under Polymath. Logic Puzzles, Pattern Recognition and Word Games sit alongside the Polymath streaks, so the catch-all hubs are in one place.
• improve Whodunit looks the part now. The mystery game's board was restyled to match the rest of the site.
• improve Who Would Win? gained a bolder duel. The two contenders now face off larger with a stronger VS medallion and a touch of hover motion, so the matchup reads at a glance.

Fixed

• fix Power Towers reads like paper notation. Nested exponents now climb up and to the right in a rising staircase, the way power towers are actually written.
• fix Laser Bounce fits small screens again. The board scales down to narrow phones so the full grid and controls stay on screen.
• fix Shadow Cast answer options behave. The shadow choices render correctly on every round.
• fix Mirror Draw and Mirror Symmetry are back. Both mirror games work again after a regression took them out.
• fix The fill-in games always show the whole sentence. Recipe, history, science, geography, quote, movie and sport fill no longer strand you on a bare blank · the rest of the passage shows as dimmed ghost text while the typewriter fills it in.
• fix Number answers now come sorted. Games with pure-numeric answer choices list the options lowest-first instead of in random order, so the row is easier to scan.
• fix Word Square stays inside its board. The grid no longer overflows its frame on narrow screens · the board and its letters stay contained and aligned at every size.
• fix The Crazy Comparisons info card matches the game. The pre-start demo card now reflects how the game actually plays instead of a mismatched preview.

July 7, 2026

New

• new Library Organizer · sort books onto the right shelf (Beta). A new classification game: each book shows an emoji on its cover and you pick the category shelf it belongs on · animals with animals, food with food, symbols with symbols. A gentle vocabulary drill built on the Unicode emoji taxonomy, available in all 25 languages and printable as a worksheet.
• new Worth · deduce the value (Beta). How many pears is an apple worth? Use exchange-rate clues (1 Apple = 3 Bananas, 1 Banana = 2 Pears) to work out the transitive value of one emoji in terms of another. Multi-step mental math and transitive reasoning, available in all 25 languages and printable as a worksheet.
• new Compounds · learn what things are made of (Beta). A new educational game: identify the chemical elements that make up common substances · from water and salt to steel and bronze. Available in all 25 languages and printable as a worksheet.
• new Micro Frustration · the ultimate digital patience test (Beta). A new joke game: endure a pointless gauntlet of fake logins, absurd KYC checks, failing 2FA codes, and password resets that just don't want to work. An infinite loop of digital friction designed to test your resilience against bad UX. Available in all 25 languages.
• new Internet Speed Test · measure your connection in practical terms. A new tool that downloads a sample from our server and reports your download speed in Mbps, then translates it into what it actually means: documents and photos per minute, plus the streaming and video-call quality your line can handle.

Improved

• improve Speed Sort is now a falling-emoji arcade game. Instead of tapping one item between two bins, emojis now rain down from the top of the screen and you drag each one into its category bin at the bottom · fruit, animals, vehicles, tools, drinks, weather and more. You have three lives, and the longer you last the faster they fall and the more often they spawn. Drag with a finger or mouse, or tap an emoji then tap a bin.
• improve Ambush is now a damage-race against a standing army. The enemy no longer moves · instead it fields a larger host drawn up in varied formations (line, phalanx, wedge or scattered). You always command the same eight: four soldiers across the front, two cavalry on the wings and two archers between them, each with eight actions. The goal is no longer to wipe the board but to inflict as much damage as you can, and the result now shows the damage you dealt out of what was possible.
• improve Rank by... (Beta) is now a "This or That" crowd-stats game. Each round asks one question with exactly two answers · Dogs or Cats? Coffee or Tea? Is a hot dog a sandwich? · you tap your pick and see how the public actually split. Every percentage comes from a real, published poll (YouGov, Pew Research Center, Gallup) with a link to the source, and a running tally shows how often you matched the majority.

July 6, 2026

Improved

• improve Continuum gets a clearer spectrum board. Specimen cards slot along a horizontal weakest to strongest axis instead of a plain list, so the intensity gradient reads at a glance · and keyboard players can now place cards too.
• improve Connotation (Beta) now teaches emotions through literature. Read a short passage from a classic public-domain book and name how the character feels · over 100 excerpts to learn from.
• improve AI Slop (Beta) gets a bigger, sourced pool. More real quotes to tell apart from the AI-generated imitations, each genuine answer now revealing its documented origin.

Fixed

• fix Black Box UI and distractor logic. Fixed a UI mismatch where the display showed the next input alongside the previous output. Distractors are now filtered to match the input type of the correct rule, preventing trivial solutions, and the number of choices now scales with difficulty.

July 3, 2026

Fixed

• fix The Pi trainer always starts now. Opening the Pi page directly · for example from a scanned QR link · could occasionally load the start screen with its Start button and how-to-play card missing, so the game couldn't be started. The start screen no longer depends on the demo card loading, so Start is always there and the trainer always opens.

July 2, 2026

New

• new Rank by... · score life through three lenses (Beta). A new self-reflection game: rate life activities · starting a business, traveling the world, public speaking and more · from 0 to 10 by how much Purpose, Fun, or Horror they hold. Then compare the three lenses side by side, and on your next visit compare with your own previous answers. Available in all 25 languages.
• new Black Box · deduce the hidden logic rule (Beta). A new inductive reasoning game: insert inputs into a mysterious "black box" one by one and watch how they transform · then identify the hidden rule, from simple arithmetic to emoji swaps, among the multiple-choice options. Available in all 25 languages.
• new A big content drop across the library. Word Square grows from 13 to 66 grids, Crazy Comparisons gains 25 new items (from peaches and polar bears to the Great Wall and the London Eye, named in all 25 languages), Facts adds 10 new facts per language, Crossword gains 6 new puzzles, Country adds 8 new countries, Who Painted It? hangs 4 new artworks, and Riddles, Analogies, Proverbs, Odds and Labyrinth all get fresh material too.
• new Who Painted It? and Who Wrote It? graduate from Beta. Name the artist behind a famous painting, and recognise literary voices from their excerpts. Both recognition games are now a full part of the library, live in all 25 languages.
• new Flanker · report the middle arrow, ignore the flock. The classic Eriksen flanker attention test as a streak game: a row of arrows appears and only the centre one counts. Incongruent rounds grow more common with difficulty, and at the top tier every flanker points its own way. Translated into all 25 languages and supports printable worksheets.
• new Signal Switch · read the colour, switch the rule. A green tile asks where it points; an orange tile asks where it drifts. The two directions conflict more and more as difficulty rises, so applying the wrong rule costs you exactly when it matters. Task-switching training in all 25 languages.
• new Rule Flip · one card, two rules. A letter-number card lands in the top or bottom half of a split board: top asks whether the letter is a vowel, bottom asks whether the number is even. From difficulty six the rule captions disappear and both rules live in your working memory. All 25 languages, printable worksheets.
• new Speed Sort · one item, two bins. Tap the category each item belongs to while the bins change every round. High difficulty swaps in semantically close pairs · fruit versus other food, instrument versus tool · where the fast intuitive read starts to fail. All 25 languages, printable worksheets.
• new Connotation · judge the word's tone. Positive or negative? Strongly-charged words open the game; milder words like "stubborn" and "tidy" enter at higher difficulty. The word pool is authored natively in each of the 25 languages · you judge real words, not translations. Printable worksheets included.
• new Transitions · pick the connector that bridges two sentences. However, therefore, meanwhile or for example? Name the logical relationship, then pick the connector from that family · the distractors always come from the other families. Sentence pairs authored natively in all 25 languages. Printable worksheets included.
• new Continuum · order words along their intensity gradient. Freezing, cold, warm, hot, scorching: tap the words from weakest to strongest across 14 everyday gradients · temperature, sound, certainty, anger and more · each authored natively in all 25 languages.

Improved

• improve Power Towers now reads like real math. Towers are written in true exponent notation · nested superscripts climbing off the base, the way they look on paper · instead of stacked boxes. Rounds vary more too: the two towers can now differ in height and shape, so comparing them stays a fresh logarithmic puzzle. The game's home-page card plays the new notation as well.
• improve Human Map now looks like a real map. A dashed equator line and localized ocean labels anchor the world grid, and every birth or death now sends a soft expanding ripple out from its country · you can literally watch humanity's heartbeat spread across the map.
• improve Every game now starts with its how-to card. Colors, Ghost, Crazy Comparisons and eight more games (Human Map, Human Timer, Inflation, Paper Folds, Perfect Shape, Progress, Timeline, Which Curve) open on the standard info card with its animated demo and a single Start button · the board itself only appears once you press Start, instead of sitting half-visible behind the card.
• improve Questions no longer repeat until you have seen them all. Facts, Did You Know, But Why, AI Slop, Circle Puzzle, Whack-a-Mole, Sudoku Force and Mastermind now shuffle their question pools properly · the order stays random, but every question in the pool appears once before any of them comes back.
• improve Fill-the-gap games now tell you the topic up front. Recipe, History, Geography, Science, Sport, Movie and Quote completion games show a small topic chip (like "Carbonara" or "Cold War") above the sentence, so you know what the question is about before the words start appearing. Localized in all 25 languages.
• improve Crocodile Dentist looks like the iconic toy. The game now draws a real crocodile · two jaws, eyes, a snout and an arc of pressable teeth in its open mouth · instead of a plain row of buttons. Push a tooth and it stays depressed in the jaw; hit the sore one and the upper jaw visibly snaps shut. A counter under the croc tracks how many teeth you have pressed.
• improve Domino Force now reads as a real domino chain. The puzzle tiles lie flat in one continuous horizontal chain with the gap right where it belongs, the answer tiles stand upright in centred choice buttons, and the how-it-works card plays an animated demo of the matching mechanic instead of plain text.
• improve Ambush gets standard difficulty tiers and a fixed opening. Easy, medium and hard now drive the whole battle setup · map size, army size and the numerical odds all follow the tier you pick from the same pre-start menu every other game uses, replacing the in-game gear panel. Your archer now always opens from the bottom centre facing north, so every scenario reads as a designed puzzle rather than a random skirmish, and the battle verdict shows in the standard result panel with a Continue button.
• improve Memory and Math menus match the rest of the site. Both games' pre-start settings (topic, grid size, players, mode, operations, range) now use the same option-picker controls as every other game, replacing their old bespoke dropdowns and toggles · clearer on mobile and consistent with the whole library.
• improve Laser Bounce fires a real animated beam. The laser is now always alive while you aim · it visibly bounces off every mirror and runs to a wall without giving the answer away. Press Fire and the beam sweeps across the board before the verdict lands, so every shot gets its moment of suspense. On easy, the live beam still stops on the target so younger players can aim by eye.
• improve Loading now grows a whole stack of bars. Click a bar to snap it back to empty · every 5 clicks on a bar spawns a new identical bar below it. Grow the stack to the round's target to win, but let any bar finish loading and the run is over. A running click counter and stack counter keep score, in all 25 languages.

July 1, 2026

Improved

• improve Power Grid is easier to read. Target and Current power now sit in a boxed dashboard readout, live wires are drawn thicker, and node labels are bolder, so you can see the state of the network at a glance.
• improve Perfect Day graduates from Beta. Split your ideal 24 hours across sleep, work, study, fun, family and me-time, then compare your plan to real country averages. Now a full part of the library, live in all 25 languages.
• improve Which Curve graduates from Beta. Pick which of two curves is the real shape of a phenomenon · from population growth to solar module costs. The graph-literacy challenge is now a full part of the library, live in all 25 languages.
• improve Paper Folds graduates from Beta. The exponential doubling challenge is now a full part of the library. Learn how just 42 folds reach the Moon through exact mathematics, now live in all 25 languages.
• improve Geography games now start based on your location. Geography, Human Map, and Progress now use your time zone and language to guess your country and set it as the starting default. This replaces the previous fixed default of Cairo, Egypt. Your time zone takes priority, falling back to your browser's language if the zone is unrecognized.

June 30, 2026

New

• new Study Analogies by topic and set learning goals. You can now filter the verbal analogies game by specific themes: Geography, Nature, Language, Practical, or Logic. We also added a "Learn X analogies" feature that lets you set a session goal (5, 10, or 20 rounds) and tracks your progress toward it, complete with a success screen once you reach your target. The new controls are fully localized across all 25 languages.

June 28, 2026

New

• new Power Towers · which stack of exponents is larger? Compare "power towers" · like 5⁵¹¹ versus 2²²⁴² · and judge which one grows faster. The game trains logarithmic reasoning and exponential number sense, where the height of the stack and the top-most values matter far more than the base. Translated into all 25 languages and supports printable worksheets.

Improved

• improve Which Curve is now more challenging and realistic. The game has been enhanced with new mathematical curve shapes (quadratic, square root, and logarithmic) to provide more plausible decoys. Curves now feature subtle organic noise to simulate real-world data variability, and five new phenomena have been added: global surface temperature, atmospheric CO2, solar module costs, internet adoption, and life expectancy. The new content is fully translated into English and Swedish.
• improve Timeline expanded and graduated from Beta. The game now draws from a larger, more modern dataset including events from 2020-2024. Rounds have been bumped from 5 to 6 items, and the result panel now shows factual descriptions for every event placed, so you can learn the story behind all your answers. Added official skill tags and removed the beta badge.
• improve Perfect Shape graduates from Beta. The freehand drawing challenge is now a full part of the library. We've also updated the geometry engine to render even-sided polygons axis-aligned · a square is now an actual square, not a diamond.

June 26, 2026

Improved

• improve Life Hacks localized into 25 languages. The Life Hacks library interface and all 20 categories (from Kitchen to Pets) are now fully translated across all 25 supported languages. While the individual tips are currently being processed through our translation engine, the app shell now speaks your language natively.

June 25, 2026

New

• new AI Slop · test your "slop" detector. Is it a real quote, a classic proverb, or just AI-generated slop? Each round shows a piece of wisdom and you guess its origin. Draws from genuine historical sources mixed with machine-made imitations. Available in all 25 languages with localized real and AI-generated content.
• new Expected Value graduates from beta. The decision-making trainer is now live in all 25 languages, with a full how-to guide and integration into the Numbers, Reasoning, and Estimation roundup articles.

Improved

• improve Every game keeps its name in every language. A game's name is now shown in English on every translated page · on cards, headers, menus and the links between blog posts · so Memory, Ghost, Polyglot and the rest read the same whatever language you play in. Everything around the name · descriptions, instructions and the whole interface · stays fully translated across all 25 languages.

June 24, 2026

New

• new Expected Value · weigh the odds of a bet in your head. Each round shows a stake and a table of outcomes · a chance to double up, a rare jackpot, a chance to lose half, a small risk of losing it all · and asks you to pick the average payoff. Three difficulty tiers ramp from a clean two-outcome gamble to a four-branch bet with fat tails. Prefer to crunch your own numbers? The new Expected Value Calculator adds up any set of outcomes for you.
• new Ambush · a simultaneous-turn tactics puzzle, and a whole new Strategy & Tactics category. Program every unit with an order queue of up to eight steps · walk, turn or loose a volley · then press Execute and watch all units, yours and the enemy's, resolve at once across eight ticks. Soldiers brace a frontal charge, cavalry run down anything they strike from the side or back, and archers level a whole line but fold to a single touch. Each enemy's planned route is telegraphed so the turn is a calculation, not a guess; plan with the order buttons or by clicking the board, and pick the map size, army size and odds before you start. Wipe out the enemy line, and the leaner your plan the higher you score. Translated into all 25 languages, with a full "how to master" strategy guide.
• new Life Hacks · a library of genuinely useful tips, each checked against a cited source. A new tool (not a game): browse practical life hacks shown as clear visual cards, with the written steps matched to what a reputable source actually says. It now spans 20 categories · from Kitchen, Cleaning and Money to First Aid, Safety, Study and Pets · with every tip sourced to authorities like the USDA, CDC, NHS, TSA, FAA, CISA, the FTC and peer-reviewed research. Want just one? Random Life Hack serves a single tip at a time. Every card links to its source.
• new Human Timer · prove you're human, against the clock. A beat-the-clock CAPTCHA speedrun: read a distorted code and type it, tap every tile showing the target, spot the one tile that's tilted, then tap the scattered numbers in order. Solve the whole run as fast as you can and race your own personal best · stored per difficulty, so easy, medium and hard each keep their own record.
• new Human Map · watch the world's births and deaths, live. A world map where every country is a dot that flashes green when a birth happens and red when a death does · all generated from real population and birth/death-rate maths, no live feed. Filter to births, deaths, or both, hover a country for its running totals, and watch the global counters climb · roughly four births and two deaths every second.
• new Progress · see how far through everything we are. Live bars fill in real time for the year, month, week, day and hour · switch to any time zone to watch the clock tick over around the world. Underneath, keep a personal to-do list: tick tasks off to fill your own progress bar, with an all-time completed counter that keeps climbing, saved to your account when you sign in.
• new Perfect Shape · how perfect a circle can you draw? Pick a circle, square, triangle, pentagon or hexagon and draw it freehand in one stroke · we score how close to perfect you got and overlay the ideal outline so you can see where you drifted. You are never marked wrong, and each shape keeps its own personal best to beat.
• new Which Curve · which graph is the real one? Each round names something that changes over time · world population, a year of daylight, the price of storage, a viral video's views · and shows two curves. One is the real shape it makes, the other a decoy. Pick the real one, learn in a line why it bends the way it does, and build a streak.
• new Perfect Day · design your ideal 24 hours. Slide hours into sleep, work, study, fun and family · me-time soaks up whatever is left · until your day adds up to 24. Then lay it side by side with the average day in countries around the world, drawn from OECD time-use data. No right answer, just your perfect day versus everyone else's.
• new Inflation · how far did money used to go? Each round shows a real US price from decades back · a loaf of bread for 12 cents in 1950, a gallon of gas for 36 cents in 1970 · and you guess what it is worth today. The answer is worked out from the actual Consumer Price Index, so you see exactly how many times prices have risen. Build a streak.
• new Paper Folds · how many folds reach the Moon? A sheet of paper is a tenth of a millimetre thick, and every fold doubles it. Each round names a real thing · a giraffe, the Eiffel Tower, Mount Everest, the Moon · and you guess how many folds it takes to reach that height. The answer is exact maths, and it is always smaller than you think: the Moon is just 42 folds away. Build a streak.
• new Timeline · place history on a line. Each round lays out a stretch of years and a handful of real events, and you drag each one onto the line where you think it belongs. You are never marked wrong for a far-off guess · the game just scores how close you land, then reveals the correct spot and the exact year of every event. The forgiving, drag-on-a-line companion to Ordering.

Improved

• improve Expected Value now shows its work. When a round resolves it lays the whole sum out · each chance times its result, added up to the average · so you can see exactly where the number comes from, and a wrong answer points out the trap your figure fell into: averaging the outcomes, chasing the likeliest one, or fixating on the jackpot. The game and the Expected Value Calculator now read in all 25 languages.
• improve More games tell you why an answer is right or wrong. Deduction now ticks off every clue the answer fits and points at the one your pick broke, Where on the Map traces the route to the place the steps reach, the candlestick round in Finance Lab names the pattern it just taught, and Who Painted, Who Wrote and Who Composed It? name the work and the year it was made.
• improve More game cards read in your language. Dozens of games that still showed an English one-liner on translated pages · from Odds to Mental Rotation to the Japanese logic puzzles · now have their card description translated across all 25 languages. (Game names themselves stay English · see June 25.)

Fixed

• fix Fold Out's pentagon and hexagon shapes are now solids you can actually fold. The pentagonal and hexagonal prisms and pyramids were drawn as a smooth cylinder or cone · a round shape that no flat net can fold into · so the 3D shape in the question matched none of the answers. They now appear as true flat-faced solids · a real six-sided pyramid, a real hexagonal prism · so the figure you see is always exactly the shape one of the nets folds up into.
• fix Geography had a few wrong place names and facts, now corrected. A fact-check pass caught several slips in the geography facts · Albania's capital read "Tiran" instead of Tirana, Belarus's great river "Dinyeper" instead of the Dnieper, and Belize's and Sri Lanka's famous peaks carried a stray foreign word ("Victoria Peak" and "Adam's Peak" now read correctly). A handful of facts were wrong too · Klagenfurt does not host "the world's oldest dinosaur museum", and Slavonski Brod's castle, not a tournament held in another town, is what it's known for. These now read right in every language.

Improved

• improve The home page now opens with the most popular games. The Popular row · the games people are playing most right now · has moved to the very top of the home page, above the age rows, so the first thing you see is what everyone's playing.

Fixed

• fix The highlighted word in the "Built to make you…" line is the right size again. In the band lower down the home page, the animated pink word had shrunk to about half the height of the rest of the headline · it now types out at the same size as the words beside it.

June 22, 2026

Fixed

• fix The home page no longer has a tall stretch of empty space below the footer. Scrolling to the bottom of the home page left a large blank band under the footer · an off-screen text-measuring helper behind the animated headline was stretching the page thousands of pixels past its real end. The page now stops right at the footer, so there's no dead space to scroll through.

New

• new Who Painted It? and Bullseye are out of beta. Both have graduated into the full library · Who Painted It? shows a famous painting and asks who made it, and Bullseye has you read the angle and power of a shot before letting the arrow fly.

Improved

• improve The home page shows more games at a glance, by age first. It now opens with the best picks for each age · 4-7, 8-11, 11-15 and 15-18 · then Popular and a row for every category, and each row fills with up to five games · five across on a wide screen and two across on a phone · instead of just two. The full game library lays its games out the same way.
• improve Shadow Cast is a real challenge now. It stacks a little tower of blocks, shines a light from one corner and asks which flat shadow it casts · with many more shapes, answer choices that look genuinely close to the real shadow, and difficulty that climbs the longer you last.
• improve Fold Out has far more shapes to recognise. The pool grew to fifty solids · cubes, prisms and pyramids all the way up to pentagonal and hexagonal forms · so you go much longer before a net repeats, and harder rounds bring in the trickier shapes.
• improve Loading is now one endless bar that never stops speeding up. Instead of clearing fixed waves you keep a single progress bar from filling · each save speeds it up and asks for more taps · and your score is simply how many bars you reach before one slips past.
• improve Bullseye arrows now stick into the target. A hit buries the front of the arrow in the face of the target like the real thing, rather than resting flat on top of it.

Fixed

• fix The home page no longer jumps as the headline cycles. The big animated headline at the top used to spill onto a second line whenever it landed on a longer word or question · most often on a phone · which nudged everything below it up and down each time the word changed. It now always sits on a single line at one steady size · no longer growing and shrinking as each word swaps in · so the page stays still while it types.
• fix Your stats page no longer gets stuck on "Loading…". In rare cases the page could sit on its loading message and never show your numbers · a single odd value in your saved history was enough to stop the whole page from drawing. Your stats now always load · any data it can't read is safely skipped instead of freezing the page, and if anything still goes wrong you get a clear "reload" button rather than a blank screen.
• fix Volume Estimate shapes always look like real solids now. A few rounds could draw a very wide, flat cone or cylinder that read as an odd lens rather than a 3D shape · every solid is now kept in sensible proportions, so each one is clearly recognisable while the maths behind the puzzle stays exact.

New

• new Several games that lived only inside a combined hub now have their own page too. Wordle, Hangman and Word Square each get a dedicated page again · and so do Trig Drills, Prime Time and Fractions Faster from Math Lab, Heads of State, Classify the Era and Who Made This? from History, Facts from Did You Know?, and Mirror Symmetry from Pattern Recognition. Nothing is taken away · the combined hubs still play every one of them, so you can jump straight to the single game you want or keep them all in one place.
• new Market Health · read the market like a doctor reads a chart. Is a high Shiller PE, a low VIX or an inverted yield curve a healthy sign or a warning? Each round shows one indicator and you call whether it points to a healthier or weaker market. It used to be a topic tucked inside Finance Lab · now it has its own page while still appearing in the lab.
• new Many puzzles tucked inside the combined hubs now have their own page too. The six grid puzzles from Logic Puzzles · Akari, Shikaku, Nurikabe, Slitherlink, Bridges and Infinity Loop · each get a dedicated page. So do the Pattern Recognition challenges Matrix Reasoning, Odd One Out, Rule Induction and Mirror Draw; the Music Lab trainers Tone Memory and Melody Lab; the estimation games Product Estimate and Crazy Comparisons; Mental Rotation from Spatial Reasoning; Compound Interest and Odds & Probability from Finance Lab; the Did You Know? modes Useful Facts, Fun Facts and But Why?; and the Who Made This? trio Who Painted It?, Who Wrote It? and Who Composed It?. The combined hubs still play every one of them. Two of these · Nurikabe and Who Painted It? · are still being tuned in the Beta section for now.
• new A whole new category · Completion · seven "fill the generated text" games. Each round writes out a short passage one line at a time and pauses on each blank for you to pick the missing word from a few choices · so you get more and more to fill in as the text builds, clear every blank to keep the streak alive, and miss once and it ends. The new family covers Recipe Blanks (cooking amounts, temperatures and techniques), History Blanks (events, dates and figures), Science Blanks (numbers, elements and processes), Geography Blanks (capitals, rivers and landmarks), Quote Blanks (famous quotes and proverbs), Movie Blanks (films and pop culture) and Sports Blanks (rules, records and numbers). They all share one cloze engine, so a longer streak reaches deeper into the pool, higher difficulty adds more answer choices and longer passages, and every game prints to a paper worksheet with a matching answer key. Translated into all 25 languages.
• new Old Curses (beta) · guess what a forgotten swear word once meant. An archaic curse, oath or insult appears · "Zounds", "Fopdoodle", "Gadzooks" · and you pick what it meant from a short list. Get it right or wrong, and the game tells you the word's history: where it came from and why it once made people gasp. Almost none of these would offend anyone today · "zounds" is a softened "God's wounds" from an age when swearing on the body of God was the real scandal. Each language plays its own native old words, not translations · the French get "morbleu", the Germans "Sapperlot", the Swedes "tusan" · because old swearing is rooted in each culture's own taboos. A hundred words per language, still being tuned in the Beta section.
• new Loading (beta) · the anti-loading-screen reflex game. A progress bar creeps toward full · tap it to snap it back to empty before it gets there. Every tap speeds the whole board up a notch, and every few taps a fresh bar joins the stack · so one calm, slow bar quickly becomes a frantic juggle of five or six all filling at once. Keep every bar from finishing to clear each wave; let one complete and the run ends. Translated into all 25 languages.

Improved

• improve Four more games can now be printed as paper worksheets. Prime Time (is this number prime or composite?), Fractions Faster (pick the largest fraction), Trig Drills (read a value off the unit circle) and Red Day Match (which tradition is this holiday from?) all print as clean multiple-choice sheets with a matching answer key · easy to hand out and easy to mark. Make one from the worksheet builder.
• improve Every game now opens on a start screen that shows how it's played. The little animation that used to pop up the first time you opened a game now plays right on the start screen instead · choose your settings if the game has any, watch the demo, then press Go. There's no popup to dismiss before you can read it any more, and you can replay the how-to-play demo any time from Settings: Guide.
• improve The home page now groups games into rows you can scan, each with a "See all" shortcut. A "Popular right now" row sits up top, and below it comes one row for every category · Memory, Numbers, Knowledge, Words, Reasoning, Puzzles, Spatial, Observation, Finance, Completion and Silly · then the best picks for ages 4-7, 8-11, 11-15 and 15-18. Each row now shows just its two strongest picks as a taster, with a "See all" button that jumps straight to that category in the library or to the games filtered for that age · so you can sample what fits and dive into the full set in one tap, instead of scrolling one long grid.
• improve Market Health now reads far more of the market. It grew from a dozen gauges to twenty-six · adding retail sales, wage growth, jobless claims, the manufacturing PMI, credit spreads, real yields, the advance-decline line and more · and asks about each at both a high and a low reading. That is over fifty distinct questions, so you go a long way before one comes back.
• improve Game cards are smaller on phones, so you see more at a glance. The home page and the full game library now fit two cards per row on a phone instead of one · the live preview on each card scales down to match, so there's less scrolling to reach the game you want.
• improve Slitherlink now shows your progress as you draw, and starts gentler. Each clue turns green the moment its sides are satisfied and flags coral when you draw too many around it · so a loop that looks finished but breaks a number no longer just sits there doing nothing, with no hint as to why. New runs also open on a small grid and grow as your streak climbs, instead of dropping you straight onto a full-size board.
• improve Bridges puzzles are now always fair, and you place every bridge yourself. Every board is guaranteed to have exactly one solution · so you can always reason your way to it instead of guessing, and a puzzle never "feels impossible" because two different answers were both allowed. Placing bridges is sharper too · a tap toggles the bridge nearest your finger rather than whichever one the game happened to find first, taps line up correctly even when the board is scaled down on a phone, and a right-click takes a bridge back without cycling all the way around.
• improve Bullseye now lets you aim the angle, not just the power · on a much wider range. The target now stands down the range as an angled 3D target on a post, and your arrow arcs to it under gravity, so you set two things now: how steeply you aim and how far you draw. Drag the bowstring back and the direction you pull sets the angle while the distance sets the power · a faint dotted line previews the arc as you draw. On the keyboard, up and down set the angle and left and right set the power. The playing field is also much wider, giving the arc room to breathe.
• improve Game results are now read aloud by screen readers. When you answer in a quiz, ordering, or word game · and in Hangman · the "correct / not quite" verdict and the right answer are announced to screen-reader users, not just shown on screen. The result reaches everyone, however they play.
• improve Numbers now follow your language's formatting. Big numbers in Mental Math, Sequences and the country fact guides group digits the way your language does · so a German reader sees 8.850 and a French reader 8 850, instead of the English 8,850.
• improve Power Grid's wires are now real on/off switches. Every wire carries a switch you tap to flip · the knob slides across and the wire lights up once power reaches it, so it is finally clear where to tap and which connections are live. No more wondering whether to click or drag.
• improve Power Grid is easier to read and gets tougher as you climb. The bulb is now clearly visible from the very first round instead of a tiny dot in the corner, and it grows as it fills toward the target. Longer streaks keep adding board · up to 5×5 · and bring in ×2 and ×3 booster nodes that multiply the power routed through them, so later rounds become a real wiring puzzle instead of just a longer path.
• improve Game cards now show how each game is actually played. The little animated preview on every card · in the library, on the home page and in the "how to play" popup · now mirrors the real game. Word Games no longer looks identical to plain Wordle, Volume Estimate compares three boxes, Finance Lab reads a candlestick, Market Health calls a gauge good or bad, Hash probes the hidden-rule machine, Mirror Draw mirrors across the middle, Coast calls the zone a sliding stone stops in, and the two ear trainers Tone Memory and Melody Lab now look distinct from each other. The card and the popup always match.
• improve Game card previews celebrate more quietly. When the looping preview on a card solves its round · on the home page, in the library and in the "how to play" popup · it now marks the win with just a discreet success flash, instead of popping the mascot up over the board. Calmer to watch when a whole grid of cards is animating at once.
• improve Cards across the site sit at one consistent depth. The hard drop shadow under the game cards on the home page and in the library, the home-page category cards, and the summary panels inside games had drifted to three different depths · the home-page game cards floated as high as a pop-up dialog. They now share a single resting shadow, so a row of cards reads as one even surface. Pop-ups and dialogs still lift a touch higher, the way they should.
• improve Press Enter to send your answer in games where you type one. In Product Estimate, Card Count and the Crossword, pressing Enter now submits your answer straight away instead of making you reach for the button · the same shortcut Wordle, Word Square and Hash already had.
• improve More paintings to recognise in the art games. Who Painted It?, Who Made This? and the Mosaic reveal now include Bridget Riley's op-art squares and Damien Hirst's spot painting, so a run cycles through more artists before any work repeats.
• improve Beta games now sit only in the Beta section of the game library. Games still in the workshop no longer appear among the finished ones in the main "All games" grid · they are gathered in the "Beta" section at the foot of the page, where they stay clearly badged. So the main list reads as the finished catalogue, and anything still cooking is grouped on its own.
• improve Volume Estimate now compares a real mix of 3D shapes, not just boxes. A round can pit a cube against a cylinder, a sphere, a cone, a pyramid or a triangular prism · so you have to judge a round shape against a blocky one, which is far more interesting than three near-identical boxes. The shape that holds the most is still always the one drawn biggest, every shape is shown to the same scale, and once you pick, the card reveals the exact volume and the formula behind it.
• improve Laser Bounce's easy mode now shows the beam bouncing as you aim. On easy the laser is drawn live · it ricochets off the mirrors the instant you spin one, so you can line the shot up by eye before you fire. Medium and hard still hide the reflected path until you fire, so tracing the bounces in your head stays the challenge there · pick the mode that suits you on the start screen.
• improve Pink text reads more clearly everywhere. The brand pink used for text · the wordmark in the footer, the rotating word in the homepage headline, and in-text links · is now a slightly deeper shade on light backgrounds, so it stands out cleanly enough to pass accessibility contrast guidelines while still looking like the same pink. The bright pink stays on buttons, badges and fills.

Fixed

• fix Flag a Mine's mine counter is readable again. The little "mines left" box was drawn as dark text on a dark background, so the bomb icon and the number were invisible · it sat there as an unexplained black block. It now reads as a clean bordered counter you can actually see.
• fix Laser Bounce shows its bouncing beam when featured in an article. Embedded in a blog post the laser only drew its first short segment and looked frozen · the full reflecting path now shows in that preview so you can see the beam ricochet off the mirrors. Playing the game on its own page is unchanged · there the path still reveals when you fire, so the puzzle stays a puzzle.
• fix Games embedded in articles never get stuck on "Loading…" anymore. If an in-article game ever fails to start, it now falls back to a tidy "open the full game" card instead of spinning forever, so a single hiccup can't leave a dead box in the middle of a post.
• fix Who Painted It? now shows the actual painting, not just its title. The game asked "who painted this?" while only printing the work's name as text · so it was really a name-recognition quiz. Each round now renders the real artwork, the way the game was always meant to play, sharing the same painting view as Who Made This?.
• fix Your badge count matches between your profile and the badges page now. Your profile summarised your badges with a far smaller number than the badges page it links to · the summary counted only a handful of overall badges, while the full page counts every tier you have earned across every game. Both now report the same total, so tapping "view all" no longer jumps to a different number.
• fix Games no longer ask the same question again until you have seen the whole set. A streak game was meant to cycle through every question once before any repeats, but a couple of them stopped short · Market Health could come back to the same indicator after only a few rounds. Now every game shows each of its questions before one returns.
• fix The Slitherlink card preview now shows a puzzle that obeys the rules. Its little animated loop traced the outer square while a "3" clue sat on a cell that loop touches only once · a plain contradiction to anyone who knows the game. The preview now draws a real solution where every number shown (2, 3 and 1) matches the loop around it.
• fix Heavy Friction's how-to-play preview shows the real game now. The little animated card still ran an old "where will it stop?" sliding-block puzzle instead of the factory line the game actually is · it now mirrors real play: drag the lever against the friction to fill the production meter and make a good, then watch the boat ship it out and sail home with the money.
• fix Fold Out now draws real 3D solids and their nets, and asks both ways. The puzzle used to show a row of broken symbols for the net and tiny mismatched icons for the answers, so there was nothing to actually reason about. Each shape is now drawn as a clean 3D solid · cube, rectangular prism, square pyramid, triangular prism · alongside its flat fold-out net. Rounds also go both directions now: some show a net and ask which solid it folds into, others show a solid and ask which net folds up to make it.
• fix Your streak no longer breaks around daylight-saving changes. The "consecutive days" count compared exact 24-hour gaps, so the spring-forward or fall-back night (23 or 25 hours long) could split a perfectly good streak in two. It now counts whole calendar days, so a run across a clock change stays a run.
• fix Shikaku only accepts a proper division of the grid now. A layout where one rectangle swallowed two numbers · leaving another with none · could slip through as "solved". Every rectangle must now hold exactly one number, as the puzzle intends.
• fix Labyrinth challenge tiles no longer block the only way through. A scattered challenge could land right on the single corridor to the exit, forcing it on you · and a wrong answer sent you back to the start. Those optional challenges now keep to the side paths, so the route to the goal is always yours to walk.
• fix Printable Define worksheets work in every language. On the hardest setting, the non-English worksheets printed a blank placeholder instead of real questions · they now always fill in proper options.
• fix Shadow Cast now shows a real cube casting a real shadow. The puzzle used to offer four abstract black bars with names like "two-step diagonal" that had nothing to do with the light · now an actual cube sits in the sun and each choice shows that cube throwing its shadow toward one corner, so you simply pick the shadow that falls away from the light.

New

• new Coast (beta) · guess where the sliding stone stops. A stone is launched down a track and coasts to a halt, slowing the whole way. Tap the numbered zone you think it will stop in before it settles · call it early while it is still racing for a fast reaction time, or hold your nerve until the right zone is obvious and play it safe. The board stays the same size every round · each correct call just sends the stone off faster, so you have less time to read it, and your quickest correct call is saved so you always have a time to beat. It plays the same in every language · just a stone, the zones and the clock.
• new Bullseye (beta) · draw the bow and land the arrow in the gold. A target stands somewhere down the range and you shoot at it with one arrow · drag the bowstring back to build power, then let go to loose it. The harder you pull the further it flies, so you read the distance, judge the draw and commit · pull too softly and it falls short, overdraw and it sails past. Hit the gold and you advance to a harder round; the gold shrinks as your streak climbs and the target moves each time, and your closest shot is saved so you always have a margin to beat. Prefer the keyboard? Set your power with the arrow keys and press Enter to loose.
• new Pattern Recognition has a new Mirror Draw mode (beta) · complete the reflection. Half the grid shows a shape and a mirror line down (or across) the middle; you tap the blank half to fill in its mirror image, then hit Check. Where the original Mirror Symmetry asks you to spot the tile that breaks symmetry, this one asks you to build the symmetry yourself · and the reveal lights up the full correct reflection so a near miss is easy to see. Puzzles come in a few grid sizes and mirror either down the middle or across it.
• new Fold Out (beta) · fold the flat net into the right solid. A flattened paper net sits on the card and you pick the 3D shape it folds up into · a cube, a pyramid or one of two prisms. It is pure spatial visualisation with no reading at all, so it plays the same in every language. Fold Out used to be one mode inside Spatial Reasoning · now it is its own game, still being tuned in the Beta section.
• new Shadow Cast (beta) · read the light, pick the shadow. A block stands under a light that jumps to a new corner each round; you work out which way the shadow falls and tap the matching flat shape. Like Fold Out, it was split out of Spatial Reasoning into a standalone game and lives in the Beta section while its difficulty and art are finished.
• new Volume Estimate (beta) · pick the box that holds the most. Three containers sit on the card and you judge each one by its length, width and height, then tap the one with the largest internal volume. It is pure number sense with no reading at all, so it plays the same in every language. Volume Estimate used to be one lens inside Estimation · now it is its own game, still being tuned in the Beta section.

Improved

• improve Polyglot now lives inside Flashcards. Matching a foreign word to its emoji was always one of the three ways Flashcards already lets you study, so the two are now one game · open Flashcards, pick "word to emoji" and you are playing exactly what Polyglot was, plus the freedom to flip the direction, swap decks, or study between any two of 25 languages. Old Polyglot links still work · they drop you straight into word-to-emoji mode.

Fixed

• fix Mixing's colour squares are all the same size now. In the "mix these · what do you get?" prompt, one coloured square could turn up noticeably bigger than the one next to it · so a simple "red + blue" looked lopsided. Every square, in the question and in the answers, is now drawn the same crisp way, so they all line up at a matching size.
• fix The "?" help icons in a game's Stats panel work again. On a game page, tapping or hovering the little "?" next to a stat · Plays, Win rate, Best streak and the rest · did nothing, so there was no way to find out what each number meant. The explanation bubble now opens reliably wherever a help icon appears.
• fix Logic Puzzles' Bridges could deal a board that was impossible to finish. On the harder maps, an island sometimes asked for more bridges than its corner of the board could actually support, so no arrangement could ever satisfy it. Every Bridges board now only asks for connections that can really be made · a clean solution always exists.
• fix Laser Bounce could very rarely deal an unwinnable board on the hardest setting. A tiny fraction of the toughest puzzles arranged the mirrors so the beam could never reach the goal no matter how you spun them. Those layouts are gone · every shot now has a real solution.
• fix The round counter now shows the round you're actually on. In streak games the little "Round N" tag stayed hidden on your very first round and then trailed one behind the whole way · it now appears right from round one and counts in step with your play.
• fix Your stats now carry over completely between devices. When you signed in on another device, a fast game that finished two rounds in the very same instant could drop one of them from your synced history · every round now transfers, so your play counts and streaks line up wherever you sign in.

Improved

• improved Every game now has a little card that plays itself. Across the home page, the games library and the "How to play" popup, each game shows a small looping card that demonstrates its mechanic · a pointer taps through one quick round and a tiny celebration plays · so you can see how a game works at a glance instead of reading a wall of text. It is the same friendly card everywhere, in your language, and it pauses politely when it scrolls off screen or if you prefer reduced motion.

June 15, 2026

New

• new Every game now greets you with a quick "How to play" guide. The first time you open a game, a friendly popup explains what you're doing and how it works before you dive in · dismiss it and it won't nag you again. Want a refresher later? It's always one tap away under Settings: Guide.
• new Flashcards · learn vocabulary between any two of 25 languages. Pick the language you speak and the one you're learning, choose a deck · animals, food, travel, objects and more · and drill the words three ways: see an emoji and pick the word, see a word and pick the emoji, or translate word to word. The picture decks are fully translated into all 25 languages, so the very same deck works for any language pair you choose.

Improved

• improve The "How to play" guide is shorter, and now shows you the game. Every game's greeting popup leads with a single quick line instead of a wall of text, and plays a little looping demo of how it works · cards flipping and matching, a Simon sequence lighting up, a grid you scan for the odd one out, or a prompt you answer to build a streak · so you get it at a glance before you tap a thing.
• improve Emoji answers are bigger and the same size in every game. In Mixing the answer emojis were rendering tiny · too small to actually read. They now appear on a proper, finger-sized tile, and every game that asks you to tap an emoji answer · Mixing, Where on the Map, Odd One Out, Polyglot and Twemoji Ghost · uses the exact same tile size, so the answer row looks consistent wherever you meet it.
• improve Logic Puzzles gives the board your full attention. The how-to panel that used to sit above every puzzle is gone · now that each game opens with a guide you can reopen any time under Settings: Guide, the rules no longer need to crowd the grid while you solve.
• improve Restart any game without leaving full-screen Game Mode. A Restart button now sits next to Exit while you play in Game Mode, so you can start a run over from the top in one tap · no need to drop out of full-screen and back in. It appears for every game with a fresh-run to give.
• improve Heavy Friction's boat now actually sails. When the boat leaves the dock you watch it sail across to the far shore with your goods, sell them, and sail back home with the money · so it's clear how long the whole round trip takes before the cash lands. The "factory restarted while you were away" notice stays up until you click it away instead of vanishing on its own.
• improve Heavy Friction's lever is now a lever you pull. Instead of tapping a button, you grab the handle and drag it all the way across the track to make a good · a half-hearted pull snaps back and produces nothing. Keyboard players can haul it across with the arrow keys.
• improve A wave of games graduated out of beta. Eleven games that had been living in the Beta section · including Traveling Salesman, Logic Puzzles, Circuit Breaker, Gear Train, Where on the Map, Deduction and Mixing · are now finished games in the main library, each with its own write-up and a place in the skill round-ups, fully translated across all 25 languages. Heavy Friction stays in beta for now while it keeps growing.
• improve Robot Builder opens up one piece at a time. Instead of every option at once, you now start with a single thing you can change · your robot's colour · and the rest of the workshop unlocks slowly as you play: its eyes, then its mouth, its body shape, an antenna, and finally a second accent colour. Each new row arrives after a few more rounds across the site, and the ones still to come sit right there showing exactly how many rounds unlock them · so there's always a next thing to grow into. (The gear head-pieces still layer on top once the basics are yours.)

Fixed

• fix Heavy Friction's boat sailed backwards and rushed the trip. The ship faced the wrong way · it looked like it was reversing across the water · and the round trip flashed by far too quickly. The boat now points where it's going and takes a full minute to sail out, sell, and return.
• fix Popups now always fit your screen. On phones, a long "How to play" guide or other popup could run off the bottom of the screen behind the browser's address bar, hiding its "Got it" button so you couldn't dismiss it. Popups now size to the visible screen and scroll inside their own box, keeping every button reachable.
• fix Where on the Map no longer sends you on pointless detours. Some routes doubled back on themselves · "3 north, then 3 west, then 3 south" quietly cancelled out, so two of the steps did nothing and you ended up directly beside the house. Routes now always head somewhere new on each turn, so every direction you follow does real work.
• fix The "memorise the digits of pi" guides now read fully in every language. The longest guide, for the first 100 digits, had slipped through with large stretches still in English in several languages · the scene-by-scene memory prompts and the closing practice tips · so readers in Thai, Hebrew, Ukrainian, Japanese, Hindi and Czech hit walls of English partway through. Every guide is now complete and native in all 25 languages.
• fix A wrong digit and a miscount in the pi guides are fixed. The short guide's summary listed eleven digits while promising ten, and the long guide said a hundred digits fill sixteen scenes when it is seventeen · both now match.

June 14, 2026

New

• new Labyrinth has a Classic maze mode. Pick Classic before you start and the maze drops the quests, encounters and items · it's just you, the walls and the exit. Instead of tapping a far tile and watching the hero stroll there, you draw the route yourself: each tap, swipe or arrow key steps one square and inks an arrow, so your path is a line you can see · and walking back the way you came rubs the line out behind you. Adventure, the original quest maze, is still there in the same picker.
• new Where on the Map (beta) · follow the directions to the right place. You stand at a house on a small map with a few places dotted around it. A short list of step-by-step directions · "3 north, then 2 east" · leads to exactly one of them. Trace the arrows across the grid in your head and tap the place you land on. Easy keeps it to a gentle 5×5 map with two turns; harder settings widen the map and add more legs to remember. The places are emoji and the directions are arrows, so it plays the same in every language.
• new Circuit Breaker and Gear Train (beta) · two puzzles that used to share one page now stand on their own. Circuit Breaker is a gentle, from-scratch introduction to logic gates: you get two inputs and a target, and the game spells out in plain words what AND, OR and XOR each do, showing the output update live as you try a gate · so you can reason it out instead of guessing. Gear Train asks which way the last gear in a chain turns given the first, and reveals every gear's spin once you answer so you can see the rule. Each now has its own page and its own thorough explanation.

Improved

• improve Robot Builder now lives in your account menu. Designing your robot is a personal setting, not a game · so it has moved out of the games grid and into your account dropdown, right next to your badges. Open the menu in the top corner and tap Robot Builder any time to restyle your avatar; the robot you save still follows you everywhere · the account badge and the character games.
• improve The game library is sorted into clearer categories. As the catalogue has grown, two sections had quietly swollen into catch-alls. "Knowledge" now keeps the trivia and world-facts games, while word and language games · Crossword, Polyglot, Define, Word Games and friends · move into their own Words section. "Reasoning" keeps the pure deduction games, and the hands-on solving and strategy games · Chess Mate, Tower of Hanoi, Logic Puzzles, Pattern Recognition and more · gather under a new Puzzles section. A few games also moved to where you would actually look for them · Find Differences, Mosaic and Silhouette now sit under Observation. Nothing was removed; everything is just easier to find.
• improve Geo tells you something about every place you learn. Each city, mountain, river and lake now carries its own little fact and a matching emoji · so when you place Stockholm you see the crown 👑 and learn it is built on 14 islands, and the same is true for every place across all the countries. The facts read in your own language, in every one of the 25 languages, and the map now shows the right symbol for each place instead of a generic pin.

Fixed

• fix Article titles and descriptions read correctly in every language again. A large batch of non-English blog and game-roundup articles had shipped with garbled, mis-encoded titles and search descriptions · some even cut off mid-sentence · so page titles, search-engine snippets and shared links looked broken. Every affected title and description has been rewritten from the English source into proper, complete, native text across all 25 languages.
• fix Leftover English removed from translated articles. A few sections had slipped through untranslated · the "Music Lab · songs mode" entry in the memory-games roundup and the numbered Method labels in the Twemoji Ghost guide · and now appear in each language.
• fix Geography guides now read in the right language. The per-city and per-river fact lines and country names across the "memorise the top cities / rivers / mountains" guides were leaking English in many languages · these are now localized, with grammar fixes for Russian and Portuguese and the correct Polish spelling of Warszawa.
• fix Spanish Twemoji Ghost guide has its accents back. The whole article had lost its diacritics (guia, mnemotecnicas, Observacion …); every accent is restored without touching the wording.
• fix The reasoning-games roundup reads cleanly. A garbled "Stroop and train this directly" line and a mismatched game count were fixed in English and across the translated versions.
• fix The "all games" roundup guides are complete in every language. Many translated category guides had drifted from the English originals · some had lost whole tip and strategy boxes along the way · so a few read as thinner than the English version. Every translation in all 24 languages has been rebuilt to match the English guide box-for-box, so each reads as a complete, native-language tour.
• fix Games featured in a guide that can't be played inline now show a "Play" card instead of an error. A handful of roundup guides embedded Fast Typing and Crossword, which run on their own pages rather than inline · those spots showed a small error box. They now show a tidy card that links straight to the game.
• fix The "Report a bug" button now stays on the games where it belongs. The floating report button had been turning up in the corner of the home page, the blog and other reading pages, where there is no game to report on. It now appears only on game pages, and the footer sits a little tighter to the content above it.

New

• new Traveling Salesman (beta) · find the shortest loop through every city. A handful of cities sit on a map and you start at home · tap them in the order you'd visit them and the route draws itself, with a live distance counter. Plan the loop that visits every city once and returns home on the shortest possible route. Match the true optimum and you win; come up longer and the game reveals the best route over your own. The map gains a city as your streak climbs, and the controls are translated into all 25 languages.
• new Robot Builder · design your own robot character. Pick its body, two colours, eyes, an antenna and a mouth, and watch it come together in a live preview. The robot you build becomes your personal logo · it appears as your avatar in the account menu · and it is the very piece you play with: the robot you program through the maze in Robot Programmer, and the runaway piece in Catch the Cat. Redesign it any time and every game picks up the new look at once.

Improved

• improve Robot Builder · earn gear by playing. Almost every game now grants its own bespoke head-piece your robot can wear · a checkmate crown for Chess Mate, headphones for Music Lab, cat ears for Catch the Cat, and dozens more. Play a game a little and its gear unlocks; keep playing across the whole catalogue and prestige pieces (laurels, a halo, gold crowns) open up. Locked gear is shown right in the builder with exactly what unlocks it, so you always see what to chase next, and a little pop-up celebrates the moment a new piece unlocks while you play. Whatever you put on follows your robot everywhere · the account menu and the character games.
• improve Who Painted This?, Who Wrote This?, Who Composed This? and Classify the Era have far more to ask. Each of these drew from a small handful of works, so a long streak kept circling back to the same paintings, books and pieces every few rounds. The shared library has more than doubled · the Mona Lisa, The Scream, The Great Wave and Water Lilies join the paintings; War and Peace, Hamlet, 1984 and Les Misérables join the writing; Beethoven's Fifth, Swan Lake, Clair de Lune and Ride of the Valkyries join the music · so you go much longer before seeing a repeat, and the era quiz spans more periods.
• improve Fun Facts and Useful Facts have many more questions. Both fact pools grew from 20 to 35 in every one of the 25 languages · new fun ones (how many arms an octopus has, keys on a piano, legs on a spider, rings on the Olympic flag) and new useful ones (chambers in the human heart, planets in the Solar System, squares on a chessboard, sides of a hexagon), so a long streak runs much further before a fact comes round again.
• improve Robot Programmer gets harder one step at a time. The goal now sits exactly one extra move from the start on every round, so the route you have to program grows by a single step each time you win instead of jumping a whole maze size every few rounds. The board only grows once a longer path no longer fits, making the climb smooth and steady from the very first round.
• improve Robot Programmer crashes are unmistakable now. When a programmed move drives the robot into a wall, it visibly lunges into the wall and turns red instead of stopping quietly in place · a wrong program now reads clearly as a crash.
• improve Measure It's shapes are cleaner. Each figure now shows just the shape and its measurement lines · the little icon that used to sit inside has been dropped, so nothing competes with the geometry you are reading.
• improve Decay Time's "what to study" menu is simpler. Instead of a separate "Everything" button, you just switch Nature & food and Human-made on or off · leaving both on studies everything, exactly like the picker in Measure It.
• improve Traveling Salesman gives you time to learn from a miss. When your loop comes up longer than the best one, the round no longer rushes on · it draws the shortest route in green over your own, sums up your length against the optimum, and explains that the shortest loop visits every city once and returns home with the least total distance. It waits for you to press Continue, so you can study the route you missed before the next round begins.

Fixed

• fix Name the Shape and the other "spot the one" games stop handing you the same answer twice in a row. The shape you have to name could turn up again immediately · a hexagon, then another hexagon · because reshuffling the answer buttons made each round look brand new to the no-repeat logic. Now every shape (and every item in Decay Time, Comparisons and Market Health) is shown once before any of them comes round again.
• fix Gear Train's spin arrows now show the real direction. Every gear drew the same circular mark, so you couldn't tell clockwise from counter-clockwise · the puzzle's one visual clue was useless and the reveal looked like it disagreed with itself, even though the graded answer was right all along. The arrows are now drawn as proper curved arrows that mirror each other, so you can trace the alternation from the first gear to the last and see why the answer is what it is.
• fix Your stats page counts games you've tried correctly. The "games tried" tile could read more games than exist (an impossible "82 / 80") because it was also counting retired and behind-the-scenes game ids that are no longer in the catalogue, and the wide number could crowd the corner icon. It now counts only the games you can actually play, can never exceed the total, and sits cleanly in its tile.
• fix Load Bearer never shows two identical options. A round could occasionally deal two cards with the very same numbers (for example two footings of 400 over 5×5), which left no single right answer. Every option in a round is now guaranteed to differ from the others.
• fix Load Bearer's beam and arch rounds show what you need to answer. The "which beam bends least" round now draws the load pressing down from above, so you can see which way each beam bends · and the arch round prints its deck load next to the span and rise, so the thrust is actually readable from the card.
• fix Odd One Out's shapes round has one clear answer. The "find the one that doesn't belong" round for coloured shapes could offer a star, a heart, two triangles or a circle as the odd one · all of them shapes themselves, so the puzzle had no single right answer. The odd ones are now plain marks and symbols that clearly stand apart from the coloured tiles.
• fix Nurikabe boards can always be solved. The puzzle is built water-first now, so every board obeys its own rules · one connected stream, no 2×2 pools · and a clean solution is guaranteed. Before, most boards (and nearly all of the larger ones) had no rule-correct solution at all.
• fix Riddles · the "I argue / I propel a boat" wordplay riddle now reads right. It called itself a four-letter word when the answer, row, has three, and claimed the two readings "sound the same" when the whole trick is that they sound different. The clue now matches its own answer.
• fix How Many Fit? spells out the puzzle. The small piece and the big block used to sit either side of a bare "× ?", which read like a stray "x?" and meant nothing on its own. It is now a proper fill-in-the-blank equation · the small piece, times an empty answer box, equals the big block · so it is clear you are solving for how many pieces build it.
• fix The "New high score!" line and other win messages are readable again. At the end of a run, the new-high-score note and a few games' victory headers were a pale mint that all but vanished on the cream background. They now use a deeper green that reads clearly, and the Play Again button matches the Start button instead of a faint outline.

New

• new Logic Puzzles (beta) · six classic grid puzzles in one place. Akari, Shikaku, Nurikabe, Slitherlink, Bridges, and Infinity Loop, each generated fresh every round and growing with your streak. Pick your puzzle before you start · light every cell, cut the grid into rectangles, wall off the islands, close the single loop, connect the islands with bridges, or rotate the pipes until everything links up.
• new Follow the Chain (beta) · trace cause and effect to the end of the line. Two machines, one skill: in Gears, watch the first wheel turn and work out which way the last one spins; in Circuits, follow the signal through AND, OR, XOR and NOT gates to the output. Pick gears or circuits before you start, and the chains grow longer as your streak climbs. (Later split into the standalone Circuit Breaker and Gear Train games.)
• new Heavy Friction (beta) · the idle game where the work feels heavy. Drag industrial sliders against constant friction to produce, ship to the warehouse, sell, and reinvest · less friction, auto-sliding handles, more sliders. A tactile factory line that runs at your pace, in all 25 languages.
• new Decay Time at /decay · guess how long everyday things take to break down in nature, from a banana peel (about a month) to a glass bottle (about a million years). Filter to nature & food or human-made materials, and the wrong answers close in on the truth as your streak grows. Translated into all 25 languages, printable as a worksheet.
• new Measure It at /measure · geometry with real objects and real numbers. A pizza 30 cm across, a door 90 × 200 cm, a football 22 cm in diameter · calculate the circumference, perimeter, area, volume, radius or diameter. Pick which quantities to study, and every reveal shows the worked formula. Translated into all 25 languages, printable as a worksheet.

Improved

• improve Laser Bounce is simpler and sharper · spin a mirror, then fire. The grid of four-way mirrors is gone. A laser now fires from the left and you aim it by spinning mirrors freely: tap a mirror to pick it, turn it ten degrees at a time with the left and right buttons · the beam re-aims live and shows you the angle · then fire when it lines up on the goal. Easy starts with a single mirror; clear the shot and the next board adds one more, so the beam threads more bounces the longer your streak runs. The shot only counts when the beam has bounced off every mirror · a live counter shows how many you are using, and reaching the goal while skipping one does not win. Choose your difficulty first · easy opens with one mirror, medium with three, hard with five.

Fixed

• fix Nurikabe boards finally play by the rules. Most generated boards quietly merged two numbered islands into one, so the numbers on the grid contradicted the board you were solving. Every board's islands now match their numbers · and if you find a different layout that satisfies all the Nurikabe rules, it counts as a win instead of being rejected.
• fix Chess Mate knows all the pawn moves. The board didn't allow a pawn's opening two-square advance, so puzzles whose mating move was a double-step couldn't be won, and a rare en-passant position played out from a corrupted board. Both rules are in place now, and every puzzle served is checked to be winnable.
• fix Hashi islands can always be connected. Some boards shipped with island groups that had no way to bridge to each other (impossible to finish), and a few collapsed to an empty board that declared victory on its own. Every board now has at least two islands and a reachable solution.
• fix Infinity Loop never starts already solved. Now and then the scramble landed back on the solved picture and the round won itself before you touched a tile · there is now always at least one move to make.
• fix Minesweeper Flagging never starts fully revealed. A small share of boards opened with every safe square already shown, leaving mines as the only thing left to click. At least one safe square now always remains for you.
• fix Wordle's missing-letter round accepts every real word. If the blank could be filled two ways (BOL_ can be BOLT or BOLD), picking the other valid word was marked wrong. Letters that complete a different word from the round's own list no longer appear as traps.
• fix Red Day stops calling right answers wrong. Asking where a holiday is celebrated could offer a country that genuinely celebrates it as a "wrong" option. Every country that observes the holiday is now kept out of the decoys.
• fix Find the Free Slot accepts every slot that fits. One of the calendar constraints didn't actually rule anything out, so a second time slot could satisfy every clue yet still be graded as wrong. The constraints now pin down exactly one valid answer.
• fix Fun Facts, Useful Facts and Did You Know dig deeper. A levelling bug kept the deepest 40% of each fact collection permanently out of rotation · long streaks now unlock the whole pool the way the level system always intended.
• fix Polymath modes recover instead of spinning forever. If a mini-game failed to load on a flaky connection, the loading spinner never gave way to the retry panel, and "Try another" could silently do nothing. Both now work, so a bad load costs you a tap, not the run.
• fix Finance keeps at least one topic selected. The topic chips could all be switched off at once, leaving the menu claiming nothing was selected while the game quietly played everything anyway. The last active topic now stays locked on, like every other picker on the site.
• fix Heavy Friction keeps your factory when you come back. Leaving the tab and returning later could wipe the whole run back to a single lever · the saved game was being overwritten during the away-time catch-up. Your goods, money, workers, and upgrades now survive every reload and return visit.

New

• new Inference · the opposite of deduction. A new Inference game asks you to reason backward from evidence to its most likely cause. A handful of coloured tokens is drawn from one of several hidden bags, each with its mix on show · rule out any bag missing a colour you drew, then pick the bag whose mix best explains the handful. Where our deduction puzzles force one certain answer, Inference is the everyday logic of doctors, detectives, and scientists: weighing which cause best fits what you see.
• new Whodunit · the detective's version of the same idea. A new Whodunit game gives you clues found at the scene and a line-up of suspects, each with the marks they leave. Rule out anyone who is missing even one clue, and the suspect who explains every clue is your answer. It is the coverage form of Inference · best-explanation reasoning resolved by who fits all the evidence rather than by likelihood · and it prints as a worksheet too.
• new Robot Programmer (beta) · code a path through the maze. Line up a program of turn and move steps, then press Run and watch the robot follow it through the maze to the goal. Drive into a wall and it crashes · so plan the whole route before you run it. The maze grows bigger and more tangled the further your streak climbs. The controls are translated into all 25 languages.
• new Load Bearer · which structure holds the weight? A bridge beam, a leaning tower of blocks, a crane, a dam, an arch · each round shows one and asks which one carries the load, or whether it stands at all. Every answer is settled by the real engineering formula, and the reveal works the numbers through so you see exactly why · the depth of a beam, the centre of mass of a stack, the moment on a lever. Ten kinds of question, drawn fresh every round, so it rarely repeats.

New

• new A "New games" shelf in the library. The library now opens with the ten most recently added games, newest first, so it's easy to see what just landed.
• new A Beta shelf for games still in the workshop. Games we're still building now sit together in their own Beta section · each one badged · so you can try the works-in-progress without them getting mixed up with the finished games. Finished games are marked Live.
• new Vector Arrows (beta) · add the arrows in your head. Several arrows fan out from one point, each a different length and direction. Add them tip to tail and judge which way the combined arrow points · the everyday intuition behind forces, currents, and the arrows in trigonometry. No reading required; the arrows and the answers are just pictures.
• new Name the Shape (beta) · geometry vocabulary. A shape is drawn · circle, hexagon, rhombus, trapezoid · and you pick its name. Easy rounds stick to the everyday shapes; harder ones bring in the trickier polygons. The shape names are translated into all 25 languages.
• new Deduction (beta) · find the number by elimination. A few clues describe one secret number · "it is even", "greater than 30", "its digits add up to 9" · and you cross out every option that breaks a clue until one is left. Prints as a worksheet too, and the clues are translated into all 25 languages.
• new Mixing (beta) · what do you get? Combine two things and pick the result · red and blue make purple, blue and yellow make green, grapes become wine, milk becomes cheese. All pictures, so it plays the same in every language. (The Emotions game already covers mixing feelings.)
• new Market Health (beta) · read the market gauges. An indicator investors watch · the Shiller PE, the VIX, the yield curve, unemployment · is shown at a high or low reading, and you judge whether that is good or bad for the market. The reveal explains the rule both ways, so a wrong guess still teaches you. An extension of the finance hub, printable as a worksheet too.
• new How Many Fit? (beta) · count the cube pieces. A small piece of unit cubes and a bigger block built from copies of it are drawn in 3D · work out how many pieces fill the block. Count the cubes along each side and divide by the piece. All pictures, so it plays the same in every language.

Improved

• improve A reading-progress bar on every blog article. A slim line across the top of the page fills as you scroll, so you can see at a glance how far through an article you are · and how much is left. It tucks itself away once you reach the end and never shows up when you print.

June 5, 2026

Fixed

• fix The memory cues in the "memorise the top cities" geography guides start with the right letter in every language. Each guide pegs a place to a cue word that should share its first letter · "New York" cues a word starting with N · so the cues spell a phrase you can replay. Across the 25 languages many had drifted: a wrong starting letter (one Swedish guide cued New York with "Frihetsgudinnan", an F), the place's own name standing in as its own cue, or a cue left in English inside a non-English guide. Every cue in every language now starts with the same letter as the place it stands for, written in that language.

June 3, 2026

Fixed

• fix The Pi menu works in every language again. When you played Pi in a language other than English, the menu links · How to memorise, Explore, Flashcards, and the other constants like e, tau and phi · all led to error pages. Each one now opens the right localised page.

June 1, 2026

New

• new Badges, on their own page. A new Badges page collects every milestone you have earned and, up top, the goals you are working on right now. Badges come in tiered stacks · only your next goal sits on top of the pile, with the tougher tiers tucked behind it · hover or tap a stack and the next one peeks out, so the page stays calm when you start and grows as you climb. Translated into all 25 languages.
• new Per-game badges in the Stats panel. Open Stats under any game and you now see that game's own badge stacks · what you have collected and the next rung within reach · right beside your rounds, accuracy, and best streak. It loads only when you open the panel, so it never slows the game down.

Improved

• improve Sudoku Force worksheets are a real puzzle now. The printable used to hand you the answer · it showed the fully solved grid with a single blank, so any one row, column or box already spelled out the missing digit. Now it hides a spread of cells around the marked square and leaves just one clue for each of the other digits, split across the row, column and box · the digit is still forced, but you have to read all three and combine them instead of glancing at one almost-full row.

Fixed

• fix Crazy Comparisons now opens in your language. Its per-language pages used to fall back to English, and the footer language picker sent you to addresses that weren't there. Each language now loads its own Crazy Comparisons page · with the matching about text and FAQ · and the picker links straight to it.

Older entries, from April 15 to May 31, 2026, are in the changelog archive.
