Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Short version: PlayMemorize does not sell your personal information for money. We do use analytics and advertising services that may be treated as “sharing” under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). You can opt out at any time · and if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat that as a valid opt-out automatically.
Your right to opt out
California residents (and residents of other US states with similar laws) have the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell your data for money. Some analytics and advertising cookies (Google Analytics 4 and Google AdSense) may constitute “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising under the CCPA.
How to opt out
- Cookie Settings: use the Cookie Settings link in the site footer and choose “No thanks”. This turns off all non-essential analytics and advertising on this browser.
- Global Privacy Control: if your browser or an extension sends a GPC signal, we automatically record an opt-out and never load non-essential cookies · you do not need to do anything else.
- Email us: contact hello@playmemorize.com to make a request relating to your account data.
What opting out does
When you opt out, Google Analytics, the first-party analytics beacons, and Google AdSense are not loaded on your browser. Strictly-necessary items (keeping you signed in, remembering your choice) continue to work · see the Cookie Policy for the full list.
Your other rights
You also have the right to know what personal information we hold, to request its deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. You can delete your account and associated data yourself on the /me page, or email us. See the Privacy Policy for the full description of the data we process and the legal bases for it.
