Can I get an event wrong?

Not really · there is no fail state. You place each event where you think it belongs and the game scores how close you landed. A far-off guess just scores lower; it never ends your run.

How is my score worked out?

For each event the game measures the gap, in years, between where you placed it and its real year, relative to the span shown. The closer every placement, the higher the percentage · and your best score is kept.

Yes. Every event and its year come from the documented history dataset shared across the PlayMemorize history games, so the answer revealed at the end is the genuine date.

What do the numbers on the line mean?

The left and right labels are the earliest and latest years the round covers · they always bracket every answer with a margin, so the event you are placing is somewhere between them.

Does it work offline?

Yes. PlayMemorize is a Progressive Web App, so Timeline keeps working without a connection once the page has loaded.
